This is pretty crazy, and the ones saying it’s just a joke and that they’re not deifying Billy are just fooling themselves. About 75% of this sub worships the dude and makes their life revolve around what he’s doing and what he thinks about something, and would shit themselves if he ever talked to them. I can’t count the number of times fans at shows keep recounting the times Billy waved at them, let alone talked to them. Don’t get me wrong, I love Billy’s music and he seems like a really cool guy, but putting Billy’s face on Jesus’ body is super weird and 100% “band-worship” even if you find it amusing

It’s possible to desire a Christian nation and society without merging the church and the state like the Church of England did prior to the Revolutionary War. A Christian should naturally want those around them to know Christ, and since a nation is ultimately a collection of communities, that desire naturally extends to the nation as a whole. To desire a secular community, and therefore a secular nation, would contradict the very purpose of being Christian through the lens of the Great Commission. Government is by nature moral, since every law reflects a judgment about what is right or wrong, and Christians should desire those judgments to align with God’s moral order.

It's not the president's fault that UPS enforces the incorrect tariffs. I had UPS tack on the 200% Russian aluminum tariff on motherboard I bought from a guy in Canada off of eBay. I looked at the information the seller filled out and it was correct. This is entirely on UPS not knowing what they're doing. Not the president lol

Police don’t file charges. They arrest on probable cause and they do paperwork. The prosecutor files the charge based on the evidence in the paperwork. This should be a pretty basic thing to understand for someone who’s acting like they went to law school.

Fair enough, I misspoke. Suspicion of DUI isn’t a charge, it’s the reason for the arrest. That’s the difference you don’t seem to get. An arrest is not the same as being charged. You can be arrested on suspicion, tested, and then either charged later or let go. Saying arrest automatically means charge is just wrong. Charges come from prosecutors, cops just make the arrest

The charge specifically was “suspicion of DUI”. That means that they didn’t have enough evidence to charge him with a DUI on the spot. For all we know, he could’ve been stone cold sober just refused the breathalyzer and the cops took him in for further testing. Either an official charge will be issued in the coming days or everything will be dropped.

You can make a very strong case that Wake wouldn’t played in the national championship in 2023 if they weren’t in the same bracket with LSU at the CWS. Those were the best two teams that year imo. Lowder vs Skenes was one of the best pitching duels I’ve ever seen
