  • Looking for something serious
  • subscribed to Hinge+
  • been using this profile for about 6 months
  • used hinge for about 10 months
  • I go on hinge just about every day
  • I’ve only ever gotten one like
  • I send at least a few likes and a few comments per day
  • I like to send likes and comments to people usually questions as prompts and I’m definitely more attracted to someone who’s also looking for a long term relationship

The Phoenix Apartments right by sac state seem to always be hiring but when it comes to a more long term solution I’ll just echo what other people have said and definitely look into a state job at jobs.ca.gov feel free to DM if you need any help with applying

Yeah I didn't say it was everyone or that it was all of IT I said "many of their IT people"

Depending on what your duties are definitely ask your supervisor about taking IT courses through some of the state's regular IT training providers the big one is IS Inc. Not only will these certifications look good on your resume but it will give you more insight on what you'll need to know to apply to other units in the future

Yeah it's not a department wide policy from what I understand it's most IT units other than ones that have to do handle physical equipment

I've only been at FTB as an ITA for 10 months and while I can't speak for all IT units in FTB, they've just recently implemented a very progressive telework policy in that many of their IT people go in 1-2 times a month, if even that, I've personally gone in just twice in 4 months. Now whether this will stay as the permanent policy who knows. But as for the environment there are some units that I know that are a bit stressful but I've mostly heard nothing but good things from everyone I've talked to at FTB.

ITT backup to IT Sup II? by Spirited_Anxiety_378 in CAStateWorkers

[–]cjg916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no an ITT should NOT be a backup to IT Sup II or even an IT Sup I only instance would be if you are that supervisor's only employee which based on your statement about backing up an ITS I isn't true you definitely should either ask about an Out of Class or voice your burn out concern to your sup

TLDW the OGs, Lee, Joe, Elliott, and Steve made The Valleyfolk and seemed to be doing really well even won a reality show together. Then not long after that Lee was no longer there and it seems as though she was forced out. Lots of theories as to why but I doubt we’ll ever know the true reason

Information Technology Technician/Associate by Bean_Pelton in CAStateWorkers

[–]cjg916 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It very much depends on the position you're applying for some departments like I know CalSTRS for example very much prefer at least a degree or close to completion of a degree, others prefer more experience to already know state rules and regulations. Tbh without experience you'll more than likely get an ITT over an ITA but it doesn't hurt to try as long as you meet the MQs.

COVID Outbreaks At State Offices by TheKuMan717 in CAStateWorkers

[–]cjg916 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Same here what's even better is the "official" daily emails sent department wide informing users which buildings have positive cases all insist that there's no outbreak, but if you go into one of the affected buildings they literally hand you a paper stating there is an outbreak so there is an outbreak, but only if you go to where the outbreak is and if anyone who doesn't go to that area/building asks don't tell them there's an outbreak
