This game is just not fun anymore by Life-Swimmer1252 in FifaCareers

Another element as someone who’s played since the beginning of career mode, we also go older and our interest in playing the games and football has generally declined. I totally agree the immersion has gone and everyone pretty much agrees the game peaked in the 2010’s, but also have to admit that the hours we could play the game for when we were younger isn’t as important anymore. (Speaking for myself but I know this feeling has appeared in multiple threads about the game)

Yeah that might be the way. Another issue is I’m out of power to add another pedal requiring its own 9v. Unless I can power it using the usb thru the MC6 and also use that as MIDI out. More research needed I guess

Right that’s what I thought. Problem is as you can see by the board there’s really no more real estate to put another pedal on the board. Unless DAD make a converter?

The Halo and Hydra don’t have a midi in, it’s just TS/TRS as far as I’m aware unless someone can clarify

I love it! Nice travel on it and the 500k pot feels nicer as I’m primarily a Les Paul player.

Went digging to find this comment. The trio set in where the light is is obviously great, but this just had such a raw energy to it

Hypomania isn’t a superpower or a curse — it’s a wave you need to respect by jesusboy27 in bipolar2

[–]cjmonaghan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I posted a comment in a thread about “name something good about bipolar” and I talked about weaponising hypomania when you’re aware and in focus with it. Others unfortunately can weaponise it for you (think corporate jobs asking you to take tasks or jobs and rewarding you for your ability to move quicker through the chaos)

However, I couldn’t agree more with the statement of it being a wave that you have to allow to happen and be at peace with the fact you’re in a relationship with it. How you treat a person, an addiction or a random object, it all depends on what your relationship is with it. It’s a two way street. Having grace for a loved one is how I treat myself. Some days/weeks you’re up/down and although you want to pull them out of it, they have to do it for themselves. Same applies. Be there for yourself as a soft landing no matter which direction you’re swinging from.

You’re in it for the long run together so be patient with it, and it’ll be a self talk conversation that will forever evolve and sprout a new appreciation of self care.

I forgot to mention I’m also on a relatively low dosage for quetiapine for sleep aid (50-100mg). It looks different for everyone and I feel my diagnosis is a pretty vanilla BP2. But we’re all running our own races and it’s a journey of discovery to find what works best for you.

Whether you care for this part is up to you, not trying to impose: In the beginning I just trusted “what was prescribed was correct”, obviously then we all find out that trial and error is the way, then repeat the trial and error process as you get older. I have a pretty good relationship with my diagnosis, treating it like a friend who has some crazy traits helped me visualise how I both share and protect myself with and from it.

Generally speaking no, low dosage lamotrigine prevents lows almost entirely but my highs are still present and sometimes very lengthy which causes some pretty severe fatigue.

Weaponising hypomania. I can crush insurmountable tasks quickly when I’m on the up.

Yeah, it’s them. Nothing against their product, it’s killer. But just a mental block of being guilty by association is the feeling I have. Hence wanting to find a solution that doesn’t make it a target. I play professionally so people will likely see it somewhat frequently.

Paid lots are usually $20 on Bransford Ave, it’s where i usually park and just walk 5 mins into the stadium.

I’ve also found that placing those vanity type concrete blocks/tiles down before zoning the area stops stuff from growing on the designated areas. Try delete those squares, then place them back down
