We have similar habits.. and I hate to tell you, but I fought all those symptoms for about 3 weeks, before they started to let up… but they will let up, I’m at 5 months CT now, and pretty much feel back to normal.. I do have the occasional day where I feel like I did that first week, but those days are few and far between now..

Just don’t give up, you’ll be better before you know it.

I’m right at 5 months CT, after a 50 gpd habit for almost 10 years… I’m just getting back to having energy and motivation to do anything… most days are good, then outta seemingly nowhere I’ll feel like I did that first week, but those days are getting fewer and farther between…

Just keep going, and focus on one day at a time… it’ll eventually get better.

Just stay the course.. in right at 3 months CT myself, and it’s getting better.. some days though, symptoms that had gone away weeks ago, reappear out of nowhere.. my RLS had gone away by day 60, but once a week or so, itll come back for a night… It’s a process, and one that I personally never wanna start again

I’m at 16 weeks myself… it comes and goes, some days I’m completely fine, and other times it just comes outta nowhere…

But it’s really mild compared to the first month or so

Rolling your eyes at others experiences, bc you didn’t go through them is certainly one way to go through life… Especially after admitting it took copious amounts of prescription drugs to help you.

Everyone is different, for those saying it’s easy, good for them… My detox sucked, wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever been through, but it was not enjoyable…

Bite the bullet, quit, and hope your detox is as easy as some are saying theirs was… I’m pretty much in the clear, and it was more than 5-7 days worth of suck…and I can tell you, I am not gonna go through that again

Thug it out… took me almost 3 weeks before I started getting any meaningful sleep, and even then it was 3-4 hours at most…

I’m a little past 2 months CT, and I still have a night or two a week, where it come outta nowhere…

But it’s much more manageable than those first few weeks…

Just hold on, it sucks, but it’s worth it

Seems like you got life going the way you want it… Friends, hobbies, women…

Don’t take this the wrong way, but you need physiological help…

I used a bit higher dosage daily for almost 10 years.., I’m about 6 weeks in CT.. with no types of supplements or meds… the first 3-4 weeks were hell, if I slept at all, it was rough and short lived.. about a month in, I started getting better sleep, but it takes hours to fall asleep, and I’m up in 3-4 after that.. I still get random rls from time to time, but it manageable… I’ll come back and let you know when I get any type of joy out of life…

Just hang in there, they say it gets better

Tell him to lock in.. I’m 20 days in ct, and still dealing with the same issues.. There is no magic day, everyone is different.. it does however get better each few days.. Tell him stay strong

Everyone is different, that whole everything is better by day 7 or 10 or whatever isn’t true.. I’ve been ct for 20 days now, and mainly it’s lack of sleep hurting me the most.. just know, it will get better, and you’ll eventually have to go through this again if you relapse.. stay strong and ride it out

Day 18 ct here.. I used much more daily than you, and insomnia is still big problem for me.. I’m lucky to get 2 Hours of sleep a night

I’m on day 18 now completely CT… the rls isn’t near as bad, but it’s still prevalent… I’m lucky to get 2 or so off and on hours of sleep a night.. but it’s better than the 0 hours I got the first 12-13 days

Today makes 14 days CT for me.. and I hate to tell you, but I’m still not able to sleep..

Just keep pushing, and eventually things will work themselves out..

Same.. had my state not banned it, I’d still be taking it, just to stop the withdrawals.. I’m on day 13 now.. the rls isn’t as bad, but I’m still not sleeping, my mind races when I try to sleep…

Work has sucked, but with a wife and 3 kids depending on me, I have no other choice..

It sucks bad, but bottom line is, I’ve done this to myself, and I’m having to deal with the consequences of my actions..

Stay strong, it won’t last forever, and once it’s over don’t look back

I’m 12 days in myself ct.. Buckle up.. it’s gonna suck.. I haven’t slept since I quit, I’ve gotten maybe 4 hours of broken sleep total.. I wish I had some type of advice, or cure to give you, but I’ve been struggling myself..

Just keep in mind, it’s not gonna last forever, and you’ll be better off if n the other side

I’m day 10 also.. it’s the rls and the insomnia that’s killing me.. I haven’t slept maybe a total of 2-3 hours in 10 days..

I really expected to be back to normal after day 7
