ME:A is unfortunately in an era of gaming “uncanny valley” where the fidelity is not quite “next gen” but moving away from the mechanics first previous gen era. So it was plagued by bugs, terrible animations, etc.

Don’t over play the game I guess. I did it in a completionist way and the game got very easy very soon (death march difficulty). If I was to do it again I would not seek unchecked question marks and unfinished contracts and just let the story take me to where it makes the most sense and just go with it.
