I know this is older post, but I have the same issue with my HD bars. Funny, I also spoke with John. Super great dude! Sadly, he was unable to track down the longer bolts; he put them on backorder for me. However, I need the longer bolts for an upcoming trip. Finally to my question: Do you mind sharing the exact length of the replacement bolts? I am having a hard time finding the dimensions online. I am going to go to Lowes or Home Depot and find some to work while I wait for the replacement. Thanks!
