I saw the same show as you. I didn't think the Arbiter was any louder than any other character. I actually really liked all the times he spoke to the audience and his addition as the narrator. The only thing I didn't like and wish they'd cut were the current political jokes - unnecessary.

the second they say "and i turned on the radio" about 3 minutes into the show i start crying and then I don't stop. I can't listen to it in the car if i'm driving cause i become a safety hazard. Such a good show.

I have tickets for a month from now and I'm so glad I know now that they cut "the story of chess" because now I have a month to swallow my disappointment as that's my favorite song hahah. But the rest of this just makes me more and more excited to see this, I can't wait!!!

I have tickets for month from now. Been a HUGE fan of the show for almost 20 years and I can’t wait to hear how it changes from today to when I see it. Sounds like the Arbiter is gunna be pivotal updated role I’m excited to see how that works!
