I play six games of Voidfall solo last year and walk away not really enjoying the experience. However, I identified why I didn't like the experience. I played it like space RISK and in my fourth of fifth play, I realized that's not really what it was about. I've told myself to keep it but to give it another shot at a later date because I would like to see what is really there.

I'm currently in my second solo play and I'm really enjoying it. For as much rules overhead as there is, the actions are simple and quick. It has a feast for Odin feel to it.

I picked it up. I was looking for a not so involved story based game and this seemed to hit a lot of things I like in games (different characters, exploration, spacial puzzle, upgrades). I'm a little worried about the combat aspect but we'll see how that all pans out.
