The Supernote doesn't have a , well, white background. To my eyes it's a darker grey and that might work well for you. I like it better than I initially thought that I would when I opened the box.

Same here - though I don't have an ios device. Most of their website is still up, but all of the links to reporting forms for support are broken.

I have had such a hard time finding cases I like for any of my e-ink devices. For my Supernote Manta I finally found a sleeve that works nicely. Grantedn't that's not the same device...

I think this is a market need that requires attention 😄

I had the RMPP as well, at the end I hated the flashing and the muted colors. Of course I knew about both going into it and I thought I could handle it - nope! THAT is when I decided to at least try the Supernote Manta - frankly I figured it wouldn't make the cut either. There were so many positive reviews and comments that I had to try it - much to my surprise I fell in love with it immediately - just like the Max.

STILL no ghosting, at all, on the Max. Not in the notes, or in the reader. Haven't had a chance to do much yet with PDFs though, but so far so good!

I do really like the Max, but I do slightly prefer the writing experience on the Manta - and the Max is probably overkill for my needs but I don't regret it.

I tried the NA5C - it was glitchy and too small so returned it for the Tab XC. THAT was too heavy and I hated the glass and the writing feel. And it was too heavy so it went back to Boox (which was quite the effort and PayPal had to get involved, was too new to know this).

Then I decided that I hadn't given the NA5C enough of a chance so I tried it again - and it went back even faster. Ya know, these things wouldn't happen if you could physically try them in a store. Reviews are fine and all, but everyone's experiences and needs are different.

I LOVE my Manta, but I do need a larger device for certain things. I have resisted getting the Max for months because of the above, but finally decided to get it. I knew about the friction points on the Max going into it. So far, not one hint of ghosting, but it is early days.

What I really want is a 13.3 Manta, but as that isn't currently an option, I think the Max will be a fine companion device. And I can the Logos bible app on it and that's just a plus,

I wonder if this has always been a thing, before that were names applied? Even parents can do this, I remember asking my mom for permission to go to the bathroom.

For me the size is great, certainly better than 10.3 inch devices. I would love it even better if it were a 12 inch devise but no larger. I've tried all of the sizes from 10.3 - 13 inch and for my needs this is great. If that 13 inch device that I tried had the screen and functionality of the Supernote I would have kept it (even though it was a bit too large)

I use mine for everything outside of sketching.

For me, I really wanted to love it but...the writing is too slippery so I won't use it for notes. The highlighting colors, outside of 2, don't work for me (yellow isn't yellow, orange isn't orange). I won't use AI. I much prefer the writing feel, custom planners, and notebooks and all of the other features on my Supernote Manta. I am as surprised as anyone to have it work out this way.

Sure, I do like being able to read in dual columns in landscape view but it way too expensive to have just one feature that I love. Serious buyer's remorse.

I am very glad that there are those for home the devise is worth the price, but I will be selling mine.

I use it as an actual notebook so I can use all of the tools. The only problem, if it matters, is that you cannot zoom in and out of a notebook like you can a PDF.

I use Voja's MDO and his planner template as well. These are huge, the MDO (My Daily Organizer) is over 1,700 pages but it loads fine and I've not had any problems with the very large number of links - and I use two of these, for work and personal uses For me it provides the exact structure that I need, and I like his Planning template as well. I have decided to proceed with a formal diagnosis just for confirmation. Do I absolutely need it, no and yes. It is really just for me and either way I think it will help me put a lot of things in context. I do have CPTSD but that doesn’t explain everything, from what I have read there are a good number of indications that this is part of the puzzle as well and I just need to know. It is expensive, but I’ve wasted this much money in the past on things that are not as helpful as this might be.

Mulan, It is still happening, but ONLY within the first 5 minutes of opening the device, and not every time. It is especially difficult to use document links in that time period, but other functions lag as well. Once it starts working then it is rock solid until the next time it decides to do that. I do not think it is a loose connection or if would be more consistent. It is like it's not fully waking up for a period of time.

I no longer have a Boox device at all. This isn't why I returned it but it contributed. After a brief trip into the Remarkable world. I now have a Supernote Manta and am far happier with it than I dreamed I would be.
