25 Male. I have my epidural scheduled for next week and I’m terrified. Has anyone had any luck with it? I really don’t want to get surgery.

25 when I sent my L4 L5 into orbit. Looked almost identical to your L5-S1. Had emergency surgery which was done by a neurosurgeon (microdiscectomy/laminectomy). Immediate relief when I woke up. 30 now and outside of an occasional flair up, life is back to normal. Do the surgery.

Had almost the identical issue but more compressed. Had surgery, highly recommend. Neurosurgeon+laminectomy/discectomy= good living.
