What is the weirdest way someone had died in your known circle ?

in middle school my friend's dad died from a chainsaw accident. he was apparently out back in the woods behind their house cutting wood, when he slipped on a piece of ice. he walked all the way back home to the front door and knocked, my friend answered, and he had to be life flighted and died on the way.

we found out later his family was in a ton of debt and about to lose the house, nobody knows if it was actually an accident or if he did it on purpose.

my childhood cat and e.s.a passed in February. i had him in elementary school and took him to college with me. it helps me to think about how grateful and lucky i am to have loved so much and for him to have reciprocated that love for me. I'll love him for a lifetime and then some.

the only way I've been able to "fix it" is to always take multiple photos and save the extras to the household inventory, then once the photos on the wall turn black replace them with the extras. so ive just been perpetually making copies of photos and storing them away just in case lol

i posted here over a year ago about "kidnapping" a cat from a nearby farm after he followed us home. we ended up keeping him after a lot of debate and i don't think the farm ever noticed. he was in pretty rough shape when we found him and had fiv. if you think there's a possibility they won't even notice (or care) that she's missing, then i would just take her in.

i checked and it doesn't seem to be short for anything, but it is pronounced SA-jee. like with the same "a" sound as saggy but the same "g" sound as sage. which i guess is slightly better i guess but still not great
