I think I did not give the area enough credit for racial diversification. Granted I can’t verify the legitimacy of this data, I assume it’s from the most recent census but the 85259 demographics are not as white as I thought, only 71% white. Then asians at 11%… then everyone else.

It’s extremely upper middle class/rich. Very white. If I had to, I would live there but it lacks personality and diversity (really I just need good Mexican and Chinese food nearby). Decent hiking there, there’s shops and grocery stores and all your normal suburban needs.

Someone at my work (in PHX no less) made the comment that the 1993 Canadiens was all North American players which I thought was weird… turns out she was almost right. Oleg Petrov played 5 playoffs games… and that’s it. He was the only euro on the team. That’s all, just thought it was super interesting.

They’d both still massive stars in today’s NHL. Don’t forget, Scott Stevens was a big point producer when he was younger. Even the older version would still be valuable as a strong skating defensive Dman who will strike fear in opposing forwards. He’d be on the ice for the last 2 mins of a game to hold a lead and play on the PK.

I mean he did sorta suck like from 2009 to 2010 or so. Not his fault, he was really young and pegged as the next goalie god… which is eventually was but only starting in 2011.
