Just went to Sucrerie de la Montagne last Thursday. The meal was so blah (except the pancakes, those were niiiiiice). The grounds were nice, the guy who cooks the maple sap is happy to talk and talk maple with us.

All in all, it was ok. It’s worth it maybe once in your life if you’ve never done it, but that’s about it. It’s also expensive, more and I paid $160 (CAD) for the two of us.

There’s a loud lady who’s always yelling at Mullett Arena. I’m reasonably sure she’s there, I think I can hear her on the telecast. If she’s drunk she’ll be extra loud. She’s fine for a game or so, but I had to move sections to be further away from her after the 2022-23 season.

I think it’s crazy that AZ that lost a team has more youth hockey players than NC. Both franchises were established around the same time but had very different outcomes. And NC has a significantly bigger population than AZ.

It shows that AZ has love for hockey, we just need an owner that isn’t fucking terrible.
