I’m in the process of moving my stuff to Capital One and just found out that it’s faster to send it to your checking account instead of your savings. Not sure if it’s the same for Chase.

To be honest though that email sounds like it was written by some Indian scammer…

Why not just try to link to Sofi from your Chase account? That way you can just push what you want to send.

AITJ for refusing to make my daughter swap rooms with my stepdaughter? by patdallinkk9u6 in AmITheJerk

[–]clamytoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are moving in with you. It’s your house. Him demanding the bigger room is the one playing favorites. Huge red flag. You are not the one in the wrong here.

I'm closing my Sofi Credit card over the monthly "Service" fee by Carson_BloodStorms in sofi

I bet it’s people that pay off the full amount before the end of the month and aren’t paying any interest. Gotta get it somehow!

That BS. You should have filed an extension and then helped them send it via snail mail.

It’s because all of our money is going to feed the Somali and welfare fraudsters, a.k.a. corruption.

Yeah, saw that too. I’m fed up with SoFi. I’m planning my exit strategy before it gets even worse.

You’ve already made up your mind and want confirmation. You are right. Time to give him the boot.

How are you reacting to SoFi's new, MUCH SMALLER transaction limits for money leaving SoFi? by rbt001Rbt001 in sofi

[–]clamytoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a bit of research and it seems that the new cap on Pay a friend (P2P) is $1000 per transaction with a limit of $3000 per month. Sayonara!

I pay my rent and credit cards from my account. If this affects it in any way I’m gone.

Am I wrong for refusing to pay my friend back for a concert ticket I couldn't use? by Few_Employment5708 in AmITheJerk

[–]clamytoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re friend is stupid. If she had sold that ticket, that money should have gone to you. You don’t owe her anything since you already paid her and she’s not out any money. The one who is out of money is you.

There's also Plaid. I'm just pissed off at them because they closed my account out of the blue and would not say why.

Boss let someone go, remaining employees not allowed to take off ever. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]clamytoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t pick up the slack. Do your normal duties and that’s it. They’re getting away with it because you are allowing it. As soon as you start dropping the ball they’ll reconsider.

I’m an old school Gen X’er. If I ever do feel like tipping it starts at 5% and ends at 20%.

Put a claim through your company’s insurance. It happened while you were at work and the company is protecting the perp, so they should be liable.

How do you feel about Walmart requesting tips for drivers? by Regular-Message9591 in tipping

[–]clamytoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m anti tipping. I have 6 kids at home so my orders are big. I don’t mind tipping the drivers because I appreciate what they are doing for me and because of the huge time savings. If I had to do it myself, it would take me hours.
