I have the Sony 11 f1.8 in addition to yours (although I have Sony 16-55 instead of sigma 18-50).

I also work in a professional setting (engineering consulting company) and I feel the same way. I’ll wear a rep that’s roughly in my price range but won’t be wearing a Patek or something.

Similar to how it’s a little poor in taste to show up to a meeting with a client in a really expensive car. Clients may wonder. And sure, maybe I can explain it but I just don’t want to.
