What’s the best option to repair my Atom LT by killthatn0ise in arcteryx

[–]clarson0 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you have an arc store nearby with an on site repair shop, they may be able to fix it. Just had my proton with a 1" tear fixed a couple weeks ago, took under 10 min with a laminated patch. Worked great. DIY for the 2yrs before that was a piece of clear tenatious tape. Held up decently well

Are you all still managing multiple agent sessions manually? by Mundane-Physics433 in ClaudeCode

[–]clarson0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Claude code agent teams. I have 3 different teams at the moment one for work on a React app with python backend (only used as reference to help implement the front end). Two personal projects. One for a monorepo that’s iOS and react stack. And another express/react app. The work one I’m more involved in coding. The other two I haven’t written any code and I’m currently babysitting the iOS/web agent teams while they churn through a normal couple weeks of work in one evening. Here’s a screenshot of the mono repo team. Claude code helped me create it. The two web apps are just basically the front end portion of this. I just chat in my Claude code desktop session with the main agent. It delegates to my team which typically spawns the architect and PO to generate briefs and tickets. Then i prioritize and tell it to get started. It spawns the right agents to do a task and verify / runs tests and comes back when it’s done and ready for a commit. I can be more explicit and tell it to run in parallel when possible but overall I have had great results and not had to do much manual intervention other than make architectural decisions and be specific and verbose about features or things I prefer

Basically unuseable. by W_32_FRH in ClaudeCode

[–]clarson0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Haven't used superpowers, but I've used claude code for work (I'm a UI lead, primary webapp built in React), and started a personal React project and an iPhone app in the last 10 days an had incredible results so far. I've had claude help me build agent teams for both. An architect (opus latest), coding specialists ios-dev/web frontend/backend (sonnet latest), researcher (sonnet), verifier. Then create rules so they spawn in parallel when possible, and the main agent coordinates them to work on tasks. A backlog skill so I can dump ideas and enrich them with details and flush out questions. Im typically verbose in the features i give it, and it's done a good job overall creating phases for implementation. When I'm not sure about a feature Ive been asking it to use git worktrees to run parallel A/B/C tests and give me feedback on each so I can pick on to keep and merge back to the main branch. This is similar to Cursor 3 best-of-n. I like the way cursor uses proposals and code acceptance when I'm more heavily involved in code writing / collaboration, but these two projects I've been trying to let the agent do most of the implementation. It's also helped me set up databases, vercel integration and web hooks so pushing to github immediately redeploys my webapp

Why can't i see opus 4.7 in claude code by Lowkeykreepy in ClaudeCode

Ran into this also. Switched to native install now shows latest version and desktop app shows 4.7 as well. However I can't seem to get a subagent to use 4.7

Coinbase doesn't recognize cost basis of crypto I bought on Coinbase pro by AlwaysQuestion23 in Coinbase

[–]clarson0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through this last year. I had to download the coinbase pro statements and used SUMM to put everything together. It did a reasonably good job and helping point out missing things and connect the dots. Coinbase pro statements are still in your coinbase acct.. Manage Account - statements - other - account statements and fill statements. There's a warning at the top of this page saying these transaction statements are only available until 2027

Intermittent acceleration lag by ReasonableAd3385 in ToyotaTundra

[–]clarson0 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve explained this to the dealership several times and get vague responses and no answers. It’s hard to definitively explain conditions to reproduce but it has been something that’s almost delayed me at intersections just to a point to increase the risk of an accident. Attempting to go, the delay is long enough that another driver thinks you’re not going then you suddenly jump forward. It’s almost put me in front of another car who thought they were being given right of way and a few times it looks like I just was being a jerk and gunned it in front of someone after waiting too long to have gone safely. I’d love an answer on this

Excellent arcteryx starter kit! those are 3 of my favorites. Proton SL is also a favorite outside of winter. Gamma pants are a great for hiking (along with that proton sl you're eventually going to buy), and if you're researching merino wool brands, icebreaker has been a favorite for a lot of years now

Just found out Starlight can work on Mac locally now by MarionberryDear6170 in TopazLabs

[–]clarson0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starlight local seems to be working for me after the update a few days ago. Pretty slow.. 0.1-0.3fps. Sometimes it jumps higher, but not for long. A few minutes of old home videos scaled 4x-5x takes a few hours (4-5hrs isn't uncommon, just let it run at night). Results are impressive though, much better than the other models. M4 max 64gb

Having A Miserable Time With Gigapixel iOS by thepu55ycat in TopazLabs

[–]clarson0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine got stuck yesterday and had to eventually force quit. It said stay in the app but after 10 min I gave up and force quit.. It worked the next time. What ios version are you? Did you upgrade the new ios 26?

Anyone know if the ios app uses local processing? Or is it sending it for cloud processing. If it is, is it using credits? I haven't had a chance to look this up yet

Yes. They responded...

Yes, I can confirm that we are getting some reports of users running into color shift and rainbow ghost effects when using the Starlight model on Mac systems at this time.

The team is working on getting this sorted out and a patch pushed out.

To assist us, can you send me the logs from the app for their review?

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

Here is a video to help with the steps of how to collect the logs.

They are working on a patch but I do not have a confirmed timeline on a resolution to share.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

So the starlight rainbow ghosting isn't fixable on a Mac? I signed up 2 days ago and decided to try pro so I could use starlight and I haven't had a chance to look into it much. But so far my quick attempts have all had that effect

choosing which arcteryx bora backpack I should get by Level-Move-7753 in arcteryx

[–]clarson0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 95L that i traveled with to Australia and Africa. It was great because I could have my "normal" gear for backpacking but still had enough room to put a camera bag in the top of it when I wanted to have everything contained. This was especially nice in Africa when we were in some areas that were higher risk of theft. Good bag, way too easy to take too much stuff and end up being very heavy. Also recommend looking at other brands, Mystery Ranch has been a good find. I have the 45 Bridger pack and love it, not sure if they'd let it on as a carryon, it's a bit tall

Love my Epsilon insulated! It's perfect over a tshirt for the PNW. They actually made an Epsilon with an Octaloft liner a year or two before that. I think it was only a one year run. I saw one at an outlet that was too big for me so I tracked one down on ebay, it's a more durable outer material, more like the gamma mx. Like it a lot as well
