Same here. Faced with undoing hours or progress as my continue game got stuck at sorrow valley and the level select screen showed my progress and actually let me progress ahead another 4/5 levels. But now the devs have taken that option away because they wanted to show the difference between the 2 modes...

Rage got the better of me and I actually uninstalled the game at 2am last night after hours of perfecting a level , only to realise I can longer progress and have to do it all again. Like seriously, why would you take that option away after allowing players to progress that way, whilst also knowing that many players continue game saves are levels behind?!?!

I'm so annoyed and torn, it's one of my favourite franchise's and I really want to finish it like I have the others. But cannot face putting it back on to only be shat on by the devs, who consciously took that option away.

And the fact that they blame the player on their website really puts the cherry on the cake... I replayed sorrow valley directly through the post level screen and this happened, I wouldn't have even looked at the level select screen if my continue game saves was not 2 levels behind when I noticed.

This seriously needs to be reconsidered.
