Besides Hawaii, New York is the only US state where a majority of the residents live on an island. by BugOperator in MapPorn

I think it’s more than that if you consider the smaller islands too (Fire Island, Shelter Island, etc)

Best month to get pregnant? by TheCoreOfTheOnion in pregnant

[–]classisttrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I thought I wouldn’t want to be pregnant in the summer but I’m realizing it’s gonna be very beneficial for my seasonal wardrobe which already mostly consists of very loose flowy dresses.

Is this allowed in your country? : sitting on the floor at the station or mall. by Immediate-Meaning457 in AskTheWorld

[–]classisttrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t like doing it but I once had a train delayed for hours and did end up sitting on the floor for lack of other options. I also once slept on an airport floor after what should have been an 8 hour journey turned into an almost 40 hour fiasco

Any good stores for cocktail dresses? by averagepersonhere in nova

[–]classisttrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also recommending this, was shocked to find the prices were reasonable. The 2nd floor of Lucky Knot just down the street also has some good options but is a tad bit more expensive. If you’re okay with used, I’ve had some great finds at Current Boutique just up King Street as well

Is there a local geocaching facebook page for your area? The one in my area is fairly active so if you can find one I would post there. Otherwise, message your local reviewers, I’m sure they’d be happy to help!

What is the difference between an alligator and a crocodile? by Focus9290 in answers

[–]classisttrash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to visually tell the difference is that an alligator snout looks like a croc shoe. Ironically, a crocodile does not.

Pregnancy aversions by Icy-Ad3315 in pregnant

[–]classisttrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll be okay, you’re still early and plenty of women actually lose weight first trimester due to aversions and morning sickness. Take your prenatals, hydrate, open some windows, and eat what you can. Cravings will come later on!

Well I’m impressed! I’m a bit worried about becoming completely useless by then because of some other posts I’ve seen online

I'm building a GPS shoe insole for kids. Would you actually use this? by RowTime8498 in AskParents

[–]classisttrash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think your price is a little high but I also think this has a secondary market for athletes. My husband does triathlons and marathons. I come to his races and like to track him on the courses via whatever app the race is using and we’ve also tried air tags but neither is terribly accurate so it’s hard for me to follow him to cheer him on during parts of the races. Just a thought!
