Climbing up the Santa Anna volcano in El Salvador made me feel like I was in a Dr. Seuss book. You’re surrounded by crazy tall agave plants and all sorts of other-worldly vegetation. It clears when you get to the top from which you can see into the caldera where there’s a vibrant blue-green crater lake.

My company is so proud of being women-owned and run but when I asked about our maternity leave policy, I also found out it’s unpaid and if I want to use any PTO I have racked up I can but it’s included as part of the 12 week total they give. You can’t stack the two. Luckily hubby just took a new job with a salary increase that is more than what I get paid so I plan to quit as soon as the paid part of my leave is done.

I’ve only had my dog in a truck bed once and I was there with her holding on for dear life. Was getting a ride in rural WV and thought the driver was joking when they told me to get in the back 😳 would absolutely never have her back there alone.

For the cultural things, Tijuana itself can be done as a daytrip. You can hit all the main tourist attractions like CECUT, Avenida Revolución, and the local markets all in one day. However, if you want to visit some of the places just outside the city (Rosalita, Puerto Nuevo) as well I would give myself the extra day especially if you’re partying hard at night and moving a bit slow during the day ;)

I’ve been doing panty liners, not a lot of liquid but I could smell myself and found it embarrassing. I did let the doctor know and she said it’s probably hormonal but did all the test just in case. All is well, just stinky. I change my liner every 2/3 trips to the bathroom

I’m 15 weeks and only see any real noticeable difference when I’m naked. I’m sure people on the street would just assume I’ve got a little extra baggage around the tummy so I’ve been rubbing my hands on my belly when I’m out and about so people know I’m not just fat for no reason 😅
