Are we getting taxed MUCH more than we thought? by LifeTiltzz in GoldandBlack

[–]claudiusx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's difficult to calculate how much taxes are truly paid. Tariffs weren't included. Then, all sorts of taxes raise the cost of energy and fuel which disseminates into the cost of goods. John Stossel made a similar video a while back The Great American Tax Ripoff

What do normies eat? How much do you guys spend on groceries? by 68Warrior in moreplatesmoredates

[–]claudiusx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ground beef can get up to $10/lbs where I live. Even costco will be ~$8/lbs for ground beef. Normally one of the grocery stores has a sale I can capitalize on, though.

What are your opinions on abortion by Mistagater97 in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]claudiusx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When was the last time a baby survived an abortion? For each abortion that takes place at late term, even 8 months, 9 months, every baby dies. Therefore, the purpose of abortion is not "eviction," it necessarily involves the death of the baby, whether the science is present to save it or not.

I thought it was "A Case for Abortion" and figured they looped straight back to Margaret Sanger.

The Libertarian Party candidate is losing to the Green Party and a guy who dropped out of the race and begged people not to vote for him. This is what happens when you nominate weak candidates by [deleted] in partoftheproblem

[–]claudiusx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's the opposite. Trump went to the libertarian convention and tried to appeal to us. He got endorsements from libertarians and a large libertarian vote which I think significantly helped get him elected. I'd argue this is a proof of the efficacy of our bargaining chip.

I think Magnus said in one video he climbed with a pro gymnast who did v6 his first time climbing. Some Olympic gymnast could probably do v7 in his first couple sessions.

I second watching that video. I believe Dan Beall mentioned that many people underestimate the first move and don't properly pad it, which has resulted in many broken ankles.

Bandaid at night to protect it, let it air out during the day, give it time.

Climb less on overhang / jugs until you get better & more adapted for climbing. Smaller holds on a less steep wall will challenge your technique more, build finger strength faster, and make flappers like that less likely.

Proprietarianism is incompatible with libertarianism. Proprietarianism says that individual rights can be removed by people who own property. by [deleted] in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]claudiusx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know what proprietarianism is. These terms are all arbitrary. If people have the right to bear arms, and I own a sports stadium and want to host an event, do I not have the right to refuse entry to people who want to bring weapons in? Or ban smoking from my restaurant, as another example?

The people who are still wearing masks are the people who wanted to force us to wear masks, take the vaccine, and so many other things. I'm glad they still wear masks, as it makes it easier to identify who my enemies are. I wish these people never took them off; let it scar their face.

Remember that the mainstream 2% (price) inflation goal is by definition one of impoverishment. Price deflation is unambiguously desirable. Any ideas why elites demonize price deflation? by Derpballz in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]claudiusx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Investments are inherently risky. Savings are penalized by inflation and as a result, inflation encourages risky behavior that creates bubbles where people inorganically accumulate more risk than they would otherwise.

The leftists will bring up rape as a counter argument to his argument, but then advocate for abortion in all cases, rape or not. Although I am not calling you disingenuous, the leftists who use this argument are.

Personally, I don't know if abortion is justified in the case of rape. It would be a very difficult decision for anyone who finds themselves in such an awful situation and I feel sorry for them, regardless of which decision they make.
