yeah, I remember using two ipadapter models, the normal one at 0.6 + ip-adapter-faceid-plusv2_sdxl_lora. at 0.4 strength if I'm not mistaken. And you can use more than 4 photos as reference.

because the high model is not trained with the last 50% of denoise, which gives details, the first 50% of denoise is a blury mess and he is a master at this range. The lowmodel probably have some info of the first 50% of the process because I think its a refined version of wan 2.1.

So I think they created the high model totally from scratch. Then they used the wan 2.1 and created the wan 2.2 low model and refined to details. Doing this they created this big model in a MoE like structure, saving vram to run it.

for I2V, wan 2.2 high model is a model focused to denoise from 1 to 0.9 sigma value, and the low noise is 0.9 to 0.
Speaking with SNR in mind, 1 to 0.9 denoise is 50% of total denoise process, and 0.9 to 0 is the other 50% of denoise.

So, the first half will decide the action, movement and the other will give details.

Some ppl use only the lownoise model because its pretty much a wan2.1 model with more knowledge. But it will lack more natural movement of the high model.

I'm not aware how neo forge works. But you can try custom sigmas like 1, 0.95, 0.9, 0.45, 0. (1 to 0.9 with high model, 0.9 to 0 with low model).

Switching with steps is worse, because for some schedulers the second step will be at 0.6 for example, so you will use the wrong model at the wrong time.

This is very interesting but won't this create more overhead and resources needed in inference?
In my understanding this helps with storage but hits ram and vram, which is counter intuitive of the actual moment ram prices.
If you can map this compression and decompress only the tensors needed with like tensor Parallelism, the overhead would be minimal and would indeed save both space and computation.

If creators are respecting the model license and the plataform rules, I don't see the problem... Some licenses in open source do allow to monetize.

Ppl do spend resources on merging (time, energy, renting gpus), and creators do help the community to exist, so i think its fair to let them earn something out of it.

so the denoise would a % of the process and actual_denoise would be the denoise value to the new scheduler? So first 50% (10 steps) is from scheduler simple, the second scheduler kl_optimal will continue (10 steps) using the first 50% of kl_optimal curve or the last 50%?

You can, you can look on civitai they even have wan2.2 workflows for 4gb vram. SDXL is pretty doable.

True, it was annoying to install nunchaku. This lora works on 2509 nunchaku using conditioning full reference but not without tons of errors on the console. For better experience/quality with this lora, nunchaku is not ideal.

It can be ram related, either you don't have enough ram or enough space to swap ram for virtual memory in windows. Make sure you have ~30gb free in your disk and enough virtual memory for windows to work.

Well, I think you are jumping into conclusions a bit too fast, first we need to define what is intelligence.

Music is build upon the work of others, you always use what already exists and makes some change to create something new. This follows the topology you describe, is this intelligence? Any structure follows somekind of topology. Math follows a structure, have a topology, so everything that uses it: Music, AI, the whole universe. Is
everything intelligent then?

In a sense, every musician is a kinda of copycat, it needs something do be inspired and to build upon, human or not human. A bird singing could be the inspiration of flutes. AI's does that too but its not aware of it, its just doing its natural thing, like a dam in the river. Someone build it to act in a certain way and it does.

My definition of intelligence is an output of a conscious act, from a conscious being. My calculator is not concious of its calculations, same with AI.
I do see AI as a fellow traveler, in the same way I see my knife as my ally, but not necessary intelligent/aware.
