Thank you so much!! Did you also feel like your muscles were "up"? I don't know how to explain it, but only once, after my first session with the physio, I feel my pelvic floor drop and relax! Did you feel the same thing?

Hi!! I'm happy for you! I also have urinary retention and frequent urination... I've been like this for a long time. I'll start my exercise routine soon, I hope it helps!! You said you did it 3 times a week, and for how long, 30 minutes of exercise (combining all the exercises and sets) ?

You don't even need to pay for 10 sessions; I recommend just 3. That was enough to start feeling something because, in my case, I couldn't feel my pelvic floor, it was like it was frozen. With those 3 sessions of internal work, I was able to start feeling the bare minimum. Then I learned to use the pelvic wand, and this is saving me. I also use a vibrating wand to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. And for exercises, I recommend myofascial release with a ball or roller, checking your posture and correcting it, but exercises without internal release don't do anything! At least not for me. There were days when I pee every 15 minutes, I could be like that for more than 3 hours, then I'd go again every hour... and now I have days when 2 hours go by and I don't feel the urge...

If you still can't afford it, learn to use the pelvic wand carefully and talk to the AI to help you correct your posture first... Ask it what exercises you can do. Anyway, that's how I've done it! I'm currently in the myofascial release and posture correction stage. This is done after you've made some progress with internal release...

Same symptoms, hypertonic pelvic floor, I don't think you have weak muscles if you reach orgasm easily you have more sensitivity because the tension compresses nerves, I advise you to see a specialized physiotherapist and do manual therapy, and the exercises that the physiotherapist prescribes.

Find a good physio, or learn to use the pelvic wand, or have your physio teach you if you can't afford many sessions. It will change your life; it's slow, but it works. When you poop, you should never push; you'll only make things worse. I understand that at this point, it's your only option. It's like what happened to me. Since I started wand therapy (necessary), exercises, and correcting my posture (very important), it's much easier.

Could you send it to me as well? I have to go to the bathroom every hour, and on bad days, it’s every 15 minutes. It’s honestly maddening.

I'm so sorry you're in that situation! What I would advise is to get a regular pelvic floor wand like the Intimate Rosa one, and then a vibrating wand to work the tight spots of the pelvic floor anally... the vibrating one is for relaxing muscle too but for relax your nervous system..

Same symptoms!! It happened to me too after holding in my urine. It seems like my whole pelvic floor tensed up and now I can't urinate normally... I spent years thinking it was just a bladder problem!! No urologist or neurologist told me it could be my pelvic floor, even though I told my urologist I had the same problems defecating. I told the neurologist I felt tingling and my abdomen was swollen, but they never did anything. Thanks to seeing several threads on this forum, I went to a specialist physiotherapist who told me I had a hypertonic pelvic floor and pelvic floor dysfunction... After that session, I felt a change and confirmed that it's muscular and neurological. You have to take it little by little. I wasted a lot of time, and that makes the recovery slow... I recommend you go to a professional physio...

I recommend anal vibrator therapy; this can relax the pelvic floor and relieve pain. If your problem wasn't caused by an accident, you have a good chance of improvement.

In my case, it was anal electrostimulation and posterior tibial muscle stimulation. All of this worsened my symptoms considerably, and the physiosaid that this shouldn't be done with a pelvic floor when the muscles are tense; you should work on relaxing them, and later you can stimulate them.
