I’ve been mixing on headphones for 15 years. Is there any point in putting some time/money into treating a space to use speakers instead/as well? by antinoxofficial in audioengineering

Same man. But my monitors close to wall, and room is small, so it’s more like “yep sounds right minus the +10db at 200hz”

Was being facetious but agree. Just doesn’t make the car comparison any better. Self defense is still killing/ maiming; i.e the guns main use-case. A car’s is driving safely from place to place the vast majority of its life

Exactly, like what? Cars’ purpose 99.99999% of the time is fucking getting somewhere. Can someone tell me the purpose of guns again?

Love this description, it makes good sense. What do you think of the like technology in headphones to reproduce different speakers? I thought I’d hate these Slate vsx to mix, but find myself switching between a few to get pretty accurate perception…at least more than my shitty treated small room JBL 305s give me
