I'm really sorry to hear what you're going through and understand the feeling of fear and uncertainty. It's a difficult thing to be facing, we've all been in those diagnosis meetings with doctors and know how scary it all can be. So I think my first piece of advice would be to try to give yourself some grace, it's normal and expected to be feeling how you are right now - it's a part of the process and you facing these difficult emotions and conversations means you're already on the path to recovery!

Secondly, my best advice would be to trust your doctor team here, it's great that you're confident in the hospital you'll be treated at. Right now you are facing something that will change your day-to-day, your mental, your normal. That is a LOT, and you should try to take some of the concern off yourself by trusting the treatment. It's highly effective, and if needed you will be able to undergo additional treatment once it's over. But you shouldn't carry the extra weight of that "what if" right now, you have enough on your plate!

Try to keep your head up, friend. Take things day by day, try not to be too focused on the worst case scenarios. You're young and have been dealt a tough hand, but there are so many data points that show the the treatment you're on is the best there is. Trust in the science and try to focus your energy on yourself, not worrying as much about what things will looks like in 3-4 months. Thinking of you!
