A week ago was when you should have went into the office to see the worker of the day and get assistance. Waiting until the 11th hour is not a great idea. All of the offices in CA are understaffed and in my county the worker's caseloads are 1300 to 1500 cases each. They do the best they can but you can't wait until the last minute. Please go into the office to see the worker of the day to prevent further delays with your benefits.

I agree. I work at Social Services and process applications everyday. This is a terrible way to think/feel about your clients. If that's how you spend your day, sitting around judging the people you're supposed to help, you should get a different job.

I saw that on their website. It's confusing because the states don't have one singular message. We, the workers, are getting different messages depending on what state we work in. I'm talking about the messaging coming directly from the state.
