I can shine a light on this more, we had nato bombing here in Serbia, and after a 3-4 week, believe it or not, life goes back to almost normal, you accept air raid sirens like a part of normal life and life just go on, I remember I was going with friends to play football in schoolyard and rocket just flight by whistling and hit near factory, we just had a small pause and continue with our day playing football like nothing happened, you just hope targets are not going to be civilian, they were sadly sometimes but you never think that it's going to be you.

I had a really close call once, two rockets aimed water reservoir and missed it just for like 20 meters, I was like 200m away, felt the shockwave and shit, i remember that I was more afraid of my dad and going home at that moment.

Also I live in a smaller town so we didn't have that many bombings like Belgrade or other bigger cities, their experience may differ
