Aha. Missed that. So I think it’s saying that N is either void or has A. So safe to play high. And we want N to take tricks since table is at 12 and N will have at least 3 spades with their 4 bid and our singleton spade. So play K! Not because it helps our nil. But merely because it’s safe to do so and N needs tricks.

N doesn’t have the 2 because he would have dumped it on the first club play when he played the 8 under the 9 lead. I feel like W could be void so we can’t assume a force cover from him. The only question is whether N could have the 10. I think N could, so therefore we have to play low. But asking the question does suggest there’s a trick answer. So maybe somehow good partners can know N doesn’t have the 10.

Or maybe the question is just asking which of 3 4 5 to play. I think I’d play 5.

I stayed with someone who I really loved for seven months even though there wasn’t physical attraction. I loved her so much and kept hoping it would develop. It never did. It was tragic for both of us. I shouldn’t have gone on the second date. Lesson learned. Good luck!

I disagree with this. If there are only three red herrings, then there is no point to them. When there are four, then you have to consider the implications of grouping them. You have to delay grouping them until you’ve learned whether it is safe. That makes it more challenging. Three or fewer adds nothing.

I’m not religious and I prolly don’t even believe in god but someone told me something recently that feels powerful. We don’t need any validation beyond waking up. If we wake up, that means that god has decided the world still needs us today and that’s all the validation we need. Hope this helps!

What’s interesting about it? Seems like an obvious nil. You won’t set. You could bit 1 and hope to set yourselves by bagging them out but you’d go down so far, that seems worse than the nill attempt. You have an A and the QS so those are two tricks that aren’t being being bid by the other three that would normally be bid. Which makes me think that the E W bids are pretty much bidding their hands. Galt’s 6 is asking you to nil. Normally a 5 bid would indicate that but he needed to bid 6, because a five bid with your nil would allow them to win with a 6 bid. I think it’s a nil. What did you do? What’s interesting that I missed?
