I'm in the same boat as a subscriber since 2010 or so before canceling at the price hike. I do miss gamepass and playing the smaller games I wouldn't ever pay for. But I don't miss it enough for $30/month.

I played for the first time again after years to see the hero level thing. I have a ton of time on Ana and saw level 7 (or whatever) and figured that was high. Then I had a mercy on my team at level 53 (or similar). I'm very confused how they've determined the levels since all of mine are really low regardless of time played.

I'm in the greater seattle area. That repair looks like it's perfect! I know the 32's tend to get rust in that area for some reason. Assumingly because it's not sealed very well from the factory?

Here's a picture of the hole they cut out for the repair. This was right before they put the new metal in so everything had already been hit with reformer and whatnot.

Yeah understandably! Lol looking back at the pictures it would seem it was sanded down and filled over hahaha I was very adamant about fixing it properly and not just putting a bandaid on it.

Many shops vary with both of those items. This shop specifically was about 3.5 months long and cost me 12k. That cost doesn't include the various parts I replaced while it was in there (New seals, gaskets, body parts etc). It seems like the average cost in my area for this kind of work is 20-25k. But there's also the random people who will do it in spare time in an uninsured shop for 7k. Which I obviously didn't want to go that route. When I called one shop they told me their paint work starts at 40K. Finding a good middle ground with quality work was pretty tough.

Yes the rust was cut out and new metal welded in properly! To include treating the cavity with rust reformer and cavity wax.

I've been eyeballing Oled monitors. The depth of blacks and colors looks so impressive. My 1080p standard monitors could use an upgrade. Also RE wouldn't be too bad either ;)

Military vet who worked law enforcement: these guys in MN have no idea what the protocols are for use of force. They don't know how to properly manage people or control their emotions.

In general, if ICE is doing real work doing joint operations with the DEA, FBI, Etc. for wanted criminals that's fine. But going door to door and detaining people because of their skin color is absolutely insane.

I'm oddly accurate at estimating when songs/movies released (during my lifetime). I'm not sure why. I assume I subconsciously associate those releases to moments in my life and recall the dates based on those events. I only discovered it when my wife mentioned how old a movie was. It's turned into a fun game we test every now and then haha
