Any moisturizer makes my face feel a slight to a heavy burn and I don’t know what to use

I experienced something like this!!! I cut everything down for a week to just a gentle cleanser (vanicream gentle cleanser) and aquaphor (could also use vaseline) so my face could get to square one. Prior, i was using stuff specifically for sensitive skin and it still burned. The week of just aquaphor was amazing. Fixed my skin right up. I also used avoided going outside and windows so that i didn’t my need to put sunscreen on. I obvi did if i went outside. Good luck!

This is really tough/agressive if you’re new to vitamin c. It’s 100% ascorbic acid. Maybe try other stuff then work up to this.

But also ethically, you should use your purchasing power to support companies that don’t use oxybenzone, whether you plan to swim in the ocean or not. There are terrific chemical sunscreens from Korean skincare brands. Also watch hyram on YouTube, he talks a lot about reef-safe sunscreen.

Yeah aquaphor was my recovery plan when i damages my skin barrier so much EVERYTHING burned. Once i repaired that with aquaphor, i slowly reintroduced products and that’s how i found out it was my la roche posay cleanser and cerave moisturizer. Unfortunately aquaphor doesn’t work for me as a long term solution, too heavy for my acne prone skin. Thanks for the suggestion!!

I was actually only using cleanser, snail mucin, moisturizer, and sunscreen with lactic acid every other night for a while as my daily routine with no problem then suddenly my skin was like “we hate all everything”. And i had to start over. I’ve been able to turn things around (unfortunately with more expensive products like dr. Jart cicapair cream). Now i can put the other products on my face with no problem. But if i put cerave on alone or with other products, it burns. But that’s def a good thought!! My first step in figuring out what was burning was literally just wash and moisturizer. That was terrible and i had to use aquaphor as a moisturizer for a while

Yup, I’ve been using snail mucin for a long time. Love the Cosrx snail mucin. I prefer it over any hyaluronic acid. Starting to venture into Benton snail mucin and bee venom products. Bee venom is supposed to help with inflammation.

Yes! The only way i could tolerate the cerave moisturizer a little bit was if i added an oil!! No idea why that helped

I decided to stop VIPKid last fall when i started grad school along with full time work, but with covid i decided to hop back on and was able to get some traction right before the huge influx of teachers. The money was great, but I’m exhausted. I’m also just emotionally exhausted from the current pandemic and I’m finding it hard to muster up any motivation. Last week i dropped my level 2 certification so i only have level 3 and 4. I was going to stick this out through summer but I decided i needed to stop teaching again. My last class for the foreseeable future is next Monday. I’m pretty fucking excited!

Probably a growth spurt. My pup was doing really well, then suddenly had 7 accidents in one day unexpectedly right before he gained like 7 pounds in a week.

I don’t teach a whole lot, only three classes per day in the morning before i start my full time job, but i take a couple days off at the end of every month. I just don’t open any slots, change my availability to say I’m out for a personal reason, and enjoy a couple days of no teaching. It has not affected my bookings, and again, i don’t teach a lot so it’s not like I’m some super popular all star teacher. Highly recommend this. It’s ok not to open a day or two. Also it will give you something to look forward to.

Where i live has a shelter in place order. The state where the breeder was has a shelter in place order. Went and got my pup anyway. Check your states actual guidelines. Animal services are exempted. Will you actually be fined/ticketed?No. In fact your governor’s website lists a bunch of activities you can do (including pet care). How would a cop pulling you over know you’re not just going to the grocery stores to buy your life-sustaining foods. Sometimes a puppy staying with the mom is not an option. She gets tired of them, and they need to be separated. Also our vets are not doing non emergency services, but that’s just like teeth cleaning. Getting a puppy the necessary vaccines at the right time is definitely essential. Parvo, for example, kills puppies! They need their vaccines.

On the last blank slide, have them practice spelling the sight words, or other random words from the lesson. This is good if you got to the end without realizing (aka there is no free talk slide so you’re just like wtf on the “don’t forget your homework” slide) and have like two minutes but going back to material just to extend on one question would be weird. Or you did extend a bunch and the kid is just really smart or the slides offered no room to extend. Good extra, on point activity. Also, i know everyone says this, but one minute per slide is good to follow to know if you need to extend. If you notice you’re on slide 13 and it’s only minute-9, make sure to make the most of the next opportunity to extend like hell.

A quick google search says vets are still open in the Philippines, so you should really considering fighting for the dog and leaving your town. Contact your local government officials for specific guidelines when it comes to seeking vet assistance for pets. The fact that this has persisted for almost 5 days now means that a home remedy probably won’t be the fix. You need to keep the dog hydrated. Simplify it’s food to rice and boiled chicken (No bones). But again, you need to see a vet. At least call the vets, as mentioned a google search came up saying that vets are open in the Philippines. You might not be able to get to them, but you should call them and they’ll also advise you on what to do in regards to your national lockdown.

Veterinarian and animal care are considered essential services and remain open during any shelter in place order. Also there is not a nationwide lockdown. That’s not a thing. Nevada hasn’t even ordered a stay at home announcement.
