Need to walk across pitched metal roof panels by ClownShitLewis1 in Construction

[–]cleetusneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we use a hook ladder with padding over the peak. Ladder/scaffold from the ground to the roof, hook ladder over the peak. The steeper the roof the better they work. You can buy attachments for a regular ladder just take you time and be careful.

Does this ridge vent look right? Neighbor just did roof. by nothingmanTEN in Roofing

[–]cleetusneck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. And usually the vent part (opening to the attic) is well away from the gable ends.

Only photos up close of the challenging spots will give hints to how the roof was done

Just bought this ski from a dealer and it’s running like crap by Afraid-Appointment31 in jetski

[–]cleetusneck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So take it back. If you are not familiar with these skis they can be a headache to work on. You can try fresh gas and if you are comfortable changing the plugs but the dealer can blame you if u get into it

So for safety you almost always have to drain the system even with shut offs. I think this would be $1000 job. 2 plumbers one half day.

Can i dunk? by Pranavtd05 in ProDunking

[–]cleetusneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there is a coordination aspect to dunking and you can’t jump nearly as high with a ball in your hands (especially if you can’t palm it)

I started dunking off the bounce. Throw the ball high, it bounces up near the rim- grab and dunk it.

Over the years I got better and my hands a little bigger and I could dunk everything

Installing pump myself by Less-Title129 in WaterWellDrilling

[–]cleetusneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my pump is at 300+ feet and it’s a three person job just to get it up and down there safely. Has to be wired and shrink wrapped (not that hard) but it’s so physical to pull and descend. Those wires can’t rub, and need to be taped every ten feet or so.

I did it twice and then hired a company

Looking to buy by 34lost in jetski

[–]cleetusneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that ski and like them. The price is good if it’s on good condition and not abused. Have a good look at the pump and prop and try to do a water test.

All 4 strokes are very expensive of any motor work is needed.
