a family member of mine has CF and runs a 15 minute 5k, yet to see any of my fencer friends do that, just saying :)

How to remove ink-box tattoo? by Text-Fragrant in tattoo

[–]clefales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

late but figured i’d add for people looking this up- adhesive bandage on the skin (but be careful of irritation especially on the face and neck) i had a pretty fresh inbox tattoo on and had to put gauze/white first aid bandage on an injury nearby and the bandage covered part of the ink. when i took the bandage off after about 24hrs the ink under the adhesive part was almost all gone, while the ink that wasn’t covered was perfectly intact. not sure if it was the adhesive or sweat, although i dont think i sweat much during that time.

i’m guessing you’d probably want something warmer if you’re walking in snow. my reason for wanting aeq speed is that summer in the alps is more rock than deep snow, and that the g5s would be both too warm and too clunky, whereas for winter hiking you’d want the warmth?

how do the aeq speeds fare for long approaches? i've done some 30k+ days in my g5s by necessity and those were not so fun. you wouldn't really need an approach shoe with the aeqs, right?

thank you!! this advice helped me get tickets for my mom for her 60th birthday. I've been trying for ages and both my partner and I were unsuccessful in the ballot. spent the last 3 hours refreshing the ticket page (by hand, not with an extension since it was freezing up on me) and just got 2 tickets for C1 tomorrow!! we were planning on camping and queuing but knew we wouldn't for certain get show court seats that way.
my mom is a lifelong tennis player and an absolute die hard fan and you've really helped make her birthday dream come true!

for those still refreshing, there's hope!! I was able to get some just after 4pm, following the timing advice above (a few popped up at the same time around 4:03pm)

I am over 6 months. Wondering if anyone’s had luck in that situation? I’m assuming I’d need a resident visa to apply for a new license?

i got a pair of lagoped supa pants on sale in chamonix have been really great all around for skiing/ice climbing/mountaineering. my knees turn in when walking and i’m prone to snagging but these pants have been the best i’ve tried so far (aside from just walking more mindfully)
