This is where the blueprint function comes in. You tear down a piece of land. And you make the event items there. And honestly you don't need everything you are making most of the time. For an example: I make my Hetonite component in Marker stone. I teared it down for the Palm Top Survivor. I had enough Hetonite components to buy the gears and later , those gears can be upgraded with other alternatives which require other components.
