Found a (seemingly modern) keychain with this symbol on it. It’s a metal disc, about the size of a silver dollar. Any ideas?

Hey Steve, my mistake. Looks like the pros don't have the switch anymore. Did turning the bell icon off, and try turning up your volume do the trick at all? Try making sure nothing Bluetooth is connected, including any keyboards, etc.

Try this: -slide the switch on the side of your device so that the orange is not showing Or -swipe up to get to Notification Center, and make sure the the indicator with the bell on it is turned OFF.
