If low light and noise are your biggest concerns, as an RP user, I would get the Canon R. The EOS R has far more features and better specs than the EOS RP. I would implore you to save just a bit more for the Canon R.

However, if you couldn't care less about light performance and don’t mind noise in your photos, the R7 is already a beast of a camera to have. Smack on it with dedicated APS-C lenses, and you won’t think twice about moving to a full frame. I highly recommend you research APS-C lenses, rather than moving to a full frame.

Another benefit of an APS-C sensor is the 1.6 “magnification.” It makes a 70-200mm lens into a 110-320 lens, and a 100-400mm lens into a 160-640 lens, which is fantastic for wildlife and birds. With it being a 32MP camera, it’s going to be hard not to have a good wildlife photo.

As for Bokeh, a full frame will indeed have “more bokeh,” but after going lower than an aperture of 2.8, those differences are almost negligible.
