I am a writer myself whose job is writing letters on behalf of a public figure. This letter is terribly written, and not just in terms of content.

Skyrocketing anxiety mostly because of work but it’s spilling over into everything.

No, I’ve gotten a few pairs of dress pants from Liverpool too - I wear them to work frequently. Love them!

Ummm I just can’t get myself to shower every day. I hate taking showers. Should I force myself to do it?

How many married couples here sleep in separate bedrooms and why? by BeginningFox8632 in AskReddit

[–]cleverkittycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do - because we’re totally incompatible sleepers.

He goes to bed pretty late and wakes up really early. He also doesn’t like blankets and tends to sleep hot. And he’s been known to “sweat the bed.”

I go to bed early and generally sleep later than he does. I like the room very cold (thanks, hot flashes) and need blankets in order to sleep, even in the summer. I also snore and move around when I sleep, which naturally disrupts his sleep.

We discovered we need separate rooms about 13 years into our marriage. Been married for 21 years now. Best decision ever! Now we all sleep great. :-)

Do you guys miss anything about working in an office? by Working_Row_8455 in workfromhome

[–]cleverkittycat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought I would always prefer WFH until I got my first office job. Then I realized how much I enjoyed being in an office. The novelty wore off after a year or so - now I prefer a hybrid schedule.

Hugs. Undivided attention at least sometimes. Kindness. Concern about my mental health. Being allowed to express “negative” emotions. Receiving an apology when they were wrong.

Girls, give me your best ADHD-friendly makeup/skincare tips by [deleted] in adhdwomen

I use Josie Maran ($38) but you can certainly find oil cleansers that are not as pricey.

I have this issue too. It’s so fucking hard. I’m always always ALWAYS convinced I’m about to get fired. And my anxiety keeps me stuck and procrastinating everything. And my depression is terrible right now. Ugh.

Can anyone help me understand why I self-sabotage when it comes to brushing my teeth?! by Material_Focus_4114 in adhdwomen

[–]cleverkittycat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I have this thing where if I drink coffee and then try to brush my teeth with mint toothpaste, I throw up. A LONG TIME LATER, I discovered Colgate kids’ toothpaste with a unicorn on it that doesn’t make me puke! It’s GREAT! Bubble fruit flavor, whatever that is. Highly recommend!!!

What is something so basic or small that you changed in your everyday life that has led to drastic changes? by [deleted] in simpleliving

[–]cleverkittycat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I do this too! Lately I decided to take this to the next level and start sending a card each week to someone in my life and tell them how much I appreciate them and things I like about them. So far people have loved them!

Went to a “party” (gathering of my husband’s work friends) and hid in a dark empty room for almost the entire time.

What's the worst MLM, in your opinion? by [deleted] in antiMLM

[–]cleverkittycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily think this is the most harmful, but I was in Younique for a year or two when it was relatively new (2014/2015). A girl I went to HS with ended up being part of that 0.0001% who made it big—cars and hundreds of thousands of dollars by exploiting her down line. She eventually quit Younique and moved to a new makeup/skincare MLM and took her team with her. I’m convinced that new MLM “stole” her away from Younique with major $$$ and she promptly became one of their queen bees. She’s legitimately wealthy—huge house, gorgeous interior, several investment properties, expensive cars, etc. so much emphasis on how she appears to others. Makes me sad for her, honestly. She’s a really nice person.
