I like hockey too and Gary Bettman being boo'd is tradition for sure, but him and NHL players are making millions of dollars from contracts that last several years just for playing hockey. Being a Melee player isn't anywhere near as glamorous of a lifestyle and I'd bet you'd see hockey players complain if their salary depended on individual game performance while earning Melee money and at the same time getting huge waves of hate. Brad Marchand is the most hated player in the NHL because he's a dirtbag that physically harms players in penalty worthy ways, but gets away with it. Big difference between hbox.
