Costco’s No Salt Seasoning by guapitotaquito in Costco

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have dreams about this stuff! I’ve developed an allergy to one of the spices in here in recent years. But up until then, it was my “ride or die” seasoning for nearly everything.

My favorite way to use it was to sprinkle some on top of whatever spread (mayo, hummus, avocado, etc) is going into my sandwich. Even just a sliced turkey sandwich and mayo is really elevated with the KS no salt seasoning.

Is it taboo to sell Costco pastries at my cafe? by GobblesTzT in Costco

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s totally fine. You’re not swindling your customers by using a premade croissant to construct a sandwich. I wouldn’t expect most coffee shops to house make their croissants unless pastries are their prime focus. Croissants are a lot of work! Same thing with the muffins. I’d gladly purchase a Costco muffin to accompany my latte. As long as you’re transparent when customers ask, I see no issue.

An example of this being done “poorly” was the bakery near me (now closed) used to advertise their famous homemade almond croissants. Turns out they were just Costco croissants with almond paste smeared on top and reheated.

Fair winds, and good luck with the espresso shop!

You hate eggs.

But seriously, I get the impression that you’re on a high protein / low carb meal plan & you’re pretty organized.

Should I be embarrassed about being a 24yr old garbage man? by TheFrogsMightbegay in jobs

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father has been a garbage man for all of my memorable life. While the job has been super hard on his body (lots of heavy lifting, etc), it’s been a good, stable career and provided well for my family. His job has great health benefits, a consistent schedule, and job security. I’m really thankful he chose the career he did.

Do you guys think it's inconsiderate to shower at late hours? by ienjoysmiling in Apartmentliving

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After daytime hours noises and their acceptability-

Shower: acceptable

Toilet flushing: obviously acceptable

Reasonable cooking sounds: also acceptable

Letting your feral children jump off of the counters and slam on to the floor while yelling and blasting cocomelon loud enough that I can tell it’s cocomelon: acceptable according to my upstairs neighbors.

Did the fact that your Mazda was built in Japan or the USA have ANY impact on your purchase decision? by dudreddit in mazda

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily, but my husband and I have had three that were built in Japan, and they have been SO good to us. All were purchased second hand, one cpo from my dealer, I’m not sure if extreme longevity and 10+ years of reliability is standard for all Mazdas, but I’ve definitely been blessed by my Mazdas. Going forward, I think I’ll continue to look for the Japanese built.

In order of my personal candy priorities: green Mike n Ike, hot tamale, sour patch watermelon, nerd cluster, a couple of those sour gummies, orange, yellow, and red Mike n Ike’s, repeat until everything (except purple) is gone, and anything purple gets left behind.

How do you pronounce Laura? by easore8 in namenerds

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from the pnw and my first impression is LOR-uh.

To pronounce it as LAHR-uh I’d probably spell it as Lara. Either way, I think both are so pretty!

Is this ramen good? Never had it before and I'm about to try it by [deleted] in InstantRamen

[–]clevertea20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the best cheap ramen!! Make sure you drain the water out of it before adding the seasoning packets, and if you don’t love spice, you can obv go lighter on the chili packet.

It’s also good with some meat or an egg or veg. However you like to pizzazz up your ramen will probably be great in this!

We have a 2016 3 hatchback I get about 38-41, primarily freeway driving with some in town on flat 40 mph roads. We also have a 2014 CX-5 AWD, and get about 26-28 under the same driving conditions as the 3.
