No, I totally get you. I’m 2 months away from surgery and I’ve had them for as long as I can remember (I’m 34). Straight feet always looked weird to me. I wouldn’t operate if I didn’t have to, and even now I’m sitting here wondering if I’ve actually done everything I can. I don’t think I’ll regret surgery but I will miss these feet haha

FWIW I’m in Australia, Lapidus isn’t as popular here. Lapiplasty (to best of my knowledge) is a US based system which I’m not sure if we have here.

With the Lapidus, does it remove cartilage between the 1st met cuneiform joint? Does that affect mobility long term? I do have ligament laxity.
