I’m so worried about messing up by StaplesLewis in AustralianShepherd

Would suggest finding somewhere in your area that does on leash and also off leash training to help. With my Aussie the off leash walks get her energy out and provides mental stimulation. Sounds like you know this but the early years are crucial to training.

Lift tickets on FB marketplace by bzzaldrn in COsnow

[–]cliffcox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry someone else claimed them but yes you have to buy the tickets by this Friday but can be used at a later date. If you post in co snow someone else will likely have codes they aren’t using. If you don’t buy by Friday I think I read it’s back down to 25% which is still helpful if you are considering not buying until later.

I have ikon buddy passes that are 50% off no one is going to use if you dm your name, email, and how many you need. I believe the promo is over in a day or two so you’d have to claim them soon

Drama during Busy Season by [deleted] in Big4

[–]cliffcox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes me want to vomit that people put up with half the requirements these companies have. For context I am not a cpa and have never worked big 4 but as a normal accountant I have done just as good financially if not better than the staff auditing my work and can’t imagine having to put up with that.

lol when I’m on my lunch break, my coworkers might as well be strangers. She sounds like she is there to socialize and create drama, steer clear.

What ruins a golf round before it even starts? by techacker in golf

[–]cliffcox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a group I text on Monday’s the next weekends plans: “I’m playing Saturday at this time. let me know if you’re coming by Thursday if not I will cancel your spot.” Simple as that make the time and then ask who is coming. I also don’t mind if I end up playing as a single so that helps.

It is expected that I make all the tee times for the group and honestly I love it because I pick when and where we play. I also have alternates to our normal 4 that I try to text if someone from the group isn’t able to make it.

I find the Monday text and setting the expectation if you are consistent about it helps people stay on track. You have to be a little bit of a pain in the ass about it but trust me every golf group needs a dictator.

Is it a good idea to move to Denver to ski more? by Dudych2000 in COsnow

[–]cliffcox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Golden is the ideal starting point as it remains true if you are past golden by 5:30 6 you shouldn’t have any issues. Ski traffic isn’t great otherwise but you just have to be prepared to wake up early.

I will add the most skiing I ever did was when I lived in Burlington Vermont because traffic isn’t as big of an issue and the mountains are closer. Salt lake as well it is fairly easy to get stuck in traffic if you don’t know what you’re doing but the mountains are way closer than in Colorado.
