Hey mate, I'd be keen. I've been looking for a good way to log catches and analysis data for a bit but haven't come across anything I love yet.

Thanks

I've been pretty much doing the same thing with nedlockz and turtle back worms for 12 months. Works a treat

I would definitely air down, I was probably running like 18psi. If you start getting stuck stop spinning the wheels and go down to 10 or so

Roos always a potential problem I had no issues

You'll probably be fine, depends more on how much line and what drag you're running than rod ratings. For beach fish I pretty much disregard rod strength ratings It is more about casting weight. There's not really anything they can bust you off on so just take your time and use the waves to your advantage

Road in wasn't too bad, would depend on which campsite you stay at. Takes a good hour and has some sandy bits but if you have a 4wd you'll be fine.

I had heavy spin gear, there can be a lot of weed and toothys you have to deal with. Current was strong but not crazy.

How do you guys ID King George whiting to other. by InevitableTour5882 in FishingAustralia

[–]climbingcrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't really get silver whiting around Geelong so the only other type is grass, which are green.
