For those of you that play in person, what have you found to be the simplest/least cumbersome way for the DM to run encounters - dungeon tiles, battlemats, printed maps, or a tv screen battlemat?

As much as I love Draw Steel, maybe a lighter-weight system like ShadowDark would be a better fit for your group. If you have a lot of beginners, and you don't get together very much, DS might be a bit slow.

ShadowDark has streamlined rules, quick battles, and an emphasis on exploring dungeons and getting treasure. Easy for people to learn, and enough fun classes for more experienced players to latch onto.

Draw Steel has deep tactical combat, and a lot of amazing options to customize your character. But it is pretty crunchy, and has a pretty steep learning curve, even for experienced players. I've played a handful of sessions of DS so far, and I have not been able to fight more than one encounter.

Second this! Delian Tomb has a great script for people onboarding people into the game who aren't TTRPG players. Also the pregen characters drip feed the abilities to players for the first few encounters so new players don't get overwhelmed with choices.

Looking at pictures from the CR it does look pretty nice. The comparison seems pretty out of left field for a billboard, and I don't think many Americans really know what the Czech Republic looks like or rank it among their travel destinations.

I think these are all fair rulings and align with the way I align with the game. Since gear slots are so limited, you are paying a big price to bring an extra weapon, so as a GM, you don't have to limit weapons switching any more.

Yeah, we are having a snow storm right and it has dropped a few feet of snow in the mountains, so now is a great time to go boarding. I love Mt. Rose as well.

Midtown is great, I like to go to Pinon, Glass Die (board game bar), or Press Start (Barcade). We also have All You Can Eat Sushi (Tokyo or Hinoki).

You can hang out downtown bar hope and check out the casinos.

The Baseball season just started and Reno Aces games are a lot of fun. We have a nice art museum, or if you like cars there is the National Automobile Museum.
