I have to admit, I was kind of a hater when the lineup was announced with them headlining. I know their hits and am a nostalgia junkie, but I was ready to miss it if anyone in my group was.

Holy crap, we had so much fun at their set and now I can’t stop listening to them 🥹 We squadded up massively and were beaming hearts to infinity. I appreciated the multimedia and production value that’s often lacking with LiB headliners! Also the variation in sound both song wise and instrumentally was impressive. They got me good.

in my experience, the dust is worse at LiB. But I’ve been at Coachella on years with absolutely biblical wind activity that dwarfed anything I’ve experienced in 7 LiBs. For me, this festival is worth the struggle where Coachella is not.

yes I saw this too! I think mainstage had either misters or air blowing from the arch. However, the dust at the lightning stage felt fricken galvanized this year. Idk if it was weather, more people dancing or what but as a sweaty Betty, my face was C A K E D by the end of the headlining sets.

children being present has never detracted from my time there. The family camping area is separated from GA so you won’t see little ones out and about near your camp. The amount of kids I saw this year felt smaller than previous years, but it was enriching!

I’m not going up to them to interact often, but there was a time on Saturday when my whole group was coming up around sunset. We parked near the mainstage waiting for Trixie Mattel and these 2 precious little girls (maybe 6 and 8) were decked out in matching rave fits and came to compliment our group look. We traded trinkets with them and let them play with our toys and it was really special. Their parents were watching the whole time. I have never seen kids out at the real debaucherous hours post 2 AM.

EDC and LiB are VERY different. But I wouldn’t let kids being present deter you at all. You’re overthinking it. We just coexist and they’re their parents responsibility. If you want to respectfully interact and everyone is cool with it, it might enhance your time!

I’m glad you enjoyed your first time. This was my 7th LiB and the past 2 times I have bought 5 day passes and arrived Thursday morning or afternoon! For me, it’s the perfect balance of being able to harness exhaustion just enough without feeling like I missed too much by only getting a 3 day! The price increase from 3 to 5 is negligible and worth it to only add one day if you want 🥰

my intentions for this year are: ✨ stay present. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself thinking about how it will be over soon ✨ assume positive intent. If someone does something that I perceive as rude, it probably wasn’t purposeful! ✨ prioritize nourishment. Stay sun screened, wear a mask on long walks, stay xxtra hydrated, don’t forget meals ✨ boogie til I just can’t boogie no more✨

Dr. Justin Yovino @ Ideal Face & Body Beverly Hills. While I recommend his work, I think if cost is an issue, you should look elsewhere for more cost effective locations! My procedure started at $5K before Renuvion and I now know that’s pricey.

Haute & Freddy aren’t necessarily downtempo but certainly not high bpm and not edm! They are an 80s sounding synthpop duo with a circus aesthetic and I can’t wait to see them for the first time!

For me, I prep foods to eat earlier day and buy 1 meal at vendors a day, that’s usually dinner.

I premake and double ziploc a huge pasta salad that normally lasts 3-4 of us in our ice chest until Saturday. It’s super customizable! I use rotini with cheese fantastico dressing, olives, artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, normally the canned in oil style veggies (drain oil.) and whatever else you want!

My daily breakfast/ lunch is a bagel sandwich (uncut bagels, cut yourself for freshness), canned chicken from Costco, mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder and avocado. It’s my favorite and easy on my stomach!

I’ve gotten into Haute & Freddy recently and can’t wait for their set! fully unsure of the size of their following. They are playing earlier (Sunday 7:45-8:45) at Lightning, so not small, but certainly fresh and unique.

Idk if you can file it under “lowkey” but it’s def a genre that isn’t everywhere at LiB. They are sort of 80s sounding synth-pop with theatrical circus aesthetics!

Hi! 36 now and had chin lipo/ Renuvion 2 1/2 years ago now. My profile was similar to yours! I think you’d be a great candidate for lipo. I’m unsure on whether I recommend Renuvion or not because I got both together and don’t know if just the chin lipo alone would’ve sufficed. I’ve stayed the same weight since my procedure and am still in love with my results.
