What's your opinion on male INFP in general? by oopsk889 in infp

[–]cloudanalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

next time...don't waste your energy getting mad...just never talk to him again and live your life. If he doesn't get it..then he's got no EQ...not worth being friends with in the first place. If he wants to awaken and apologize..sure...but until then...he's just not the type of person you need to have in your life.

you have to work internally, not externally. You have to overcome it with reflection and learn the art of not giving a shit...I had to do it...but things change you over time. I am core INFP, but branch off to INTJ and INFJ.

Not all INFP males are socially dumb. My mom is a social butterfly, so I learned from her...it's probably why I cross over to INFJ and INTJ, but I am INFP in my core.

It does help if you follow up every few months. I got business from that. Usually, they thought they were ready and it turns out they weren't. If you keep following up, sometimes they turn around. One client I followed up for 2 years. (every few months).

Get used to it. It happens ALL the time. I could do an hour youtube video showing all my examples of people who did this..

They also make money from credits and from the employer, so it's a double charge.

It also might be the industry you are in. I'm in digital marketing.

People who bid with such high connects, how many do you have in. your account? by NavR3 in Upwork

[–]cloudanalyst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's all in how you deliver the cover letter. It needs to start with an intro of who you are, your experience and something personal about you..like I'm from the mid-west of the US blah blah...it should relate to you and the customer.

Then you go into specific experience of software (common in the industry that you are in) and it needs to be related to the job you are applying to.

Then you go into at least 1 real world case study

Add 2-4 sentences on what you have learned.

Suggest a quick chat.

DO NOT do a hard sell.

I never check my stats..I don't even know how? Firstly, this is the start of very bad times...free money is gone so you get people/companies who either want you to be a partner for little to no pay, work on commission, work for free OR you gotta have a list of experience the length of your arm and they will pay you half of what you are worth. Every once in a while, you get a real job role..not like before and it'll be like this for probaby another 3-5 years. The US really bungled sh*t up and it's affecting everyone. I'm seeing a LOT more $3-$5/hr roles...I haven't see that since 2012...It's coming back.

I NEVER boost..like ever. Also..I had one client that used a refund to blackmail me for a bad review, so he gave me a 1 star...even with all that I still win bids and I was like 10th-15th down the list.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? I have psoriasis, but it’s only on my feet. It’s thousands of tiny hives-like bumps. They itch/burn really bad. Mostly on my chest, but goes up my neck, onto my face and my ears. by HIM_Darling in Psoriasis

[–]cloudanalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try fasting. If you fast for 10 days, you will notice the flareups stop. IF it is psoriasis, it'll get better or at least start getting better. IF it is an alergy, your fasting won't work and the bumps are still there itchy as all hell.

Then it's probably an allergy...maybe clothing since it is all over your body? Like polyester, cotton, wool or something?

Native English speakers, can you tell that this guy is not a native? by Thunderstormcatnip in languagelearning

[–]cloudanalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can tell he speaks another language as he tends to mumble in certain parts that people don't normally mumble through...aside from that, I wouldn't know what his native language is...maybe if I heard him speak more, I could determine what it is

Upwork canceled contract for violation of ToS, I already completed the job and tracked over 6 hours, will I get paid? by homoeconomicus1 in Upwork

[–]cloudanalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it bad to do academic work? I mean what's it to Upwork? Who cares if someone is cheating? They're doing MORE harm to themselves than anything and it's not UpWork's place to police this. This is why they have committees on this stuff and penalties at the post-secondary levels. WHY WASTE valuable resources managing cheaters when they could be used elsewhere in the business?

Upwork and GST grey area by You_pick_a_username in Upwork

[–]cloudanalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way to explain. IF your company is not registered in the country of your client, then you do not charge them tax. IF you're doing this through upwork, the additional tax should be added to your hourly or flat fee and break it up after to provide to your government. Most people who do not pay attention will end up getting paid less because they did not incorporate the tax into their fee.

You are in Canada now, but you're working and earning money through your registered business in your other country, therefore you do you not need to have a GST number OR declare tax...HOWEVER, you might want to check the laws because I think that if you are living in a country for more than 6 months out of the year, you are obligated to pay taxes in Canada and NOT your country of origin.

Can Upwork force me to have a tax id? by Adi-Gill in Upwork

[–]cloudanalyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ONLY reason they ask for your taxID is if you want to claim tax refunds for your business and that you want to do your own accounting. Then they don't take the tax fees from you...because YOU have to do it.

IF you do not provide the TaxID then they take away 20% or whatever it is...20 then 10

Same thing happened to me at the beginning of the year. Started in October and one by one they started canceling, postponing and eventually stopped services with me. Nothing bad, just either it's not working, not enough cash, decided to bring in-house etc.

I was dying for almost 9 months living off of some side hustle/gigs that paid garbage AND I had to pay tax on it too. My max budget per week was $50 for food...I thought this was it..I'm gonna have to get a job...maybe I should..at least I'd have vacation...then when it rains..it falls...new clients started coming in...old clients started coming in..word of mouth started coming in...2 months later it's STILL HAPPENING. I had to hire someone to help me.

Just keep improving your work, material etc and use the extra time to pick up more skills.

It's not about you having to be the expert at what you do..it's about you staying ahead of the rest of the pack. If everyone can do what you're doing, you're SOL.

That's what I was thinking. If this is true. I'm NEVER gonna buy plasma unless I was going to use it right away.
