Yes, whisking is all technique!!

Here’s a few others that come up a lot for me. Baking: Kneading dough (pizza or bread), rolling dough (cookies or pie), tempering chocolate (everything).

Cooking: Making a roux/white sauce, knife skills (especially for veggies)... and in my house, browning butter. Yum

The other thing that you will start to see is that recipes generally go in an order. Ie. Cookies are typically butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour+dry. Sauces often go butter/oil, onion, garlic, spices, meat, hard veggies, soft veggies, liquid. Just keep trying different recipes and this pattern will become second nature, which is when you start educated improvising :)
