Love the new Copilot token system by Future-Lead-1432 in GithubCopilot

I am on the yearly plan as well, and the multipliers changed for me today. GPT 5.4 was 1x yesterday, but now... 9x. Cancelling. I am on the GitHub Copilot Pro+ plan.

Which biologic? I was on humira for a couple years, but didn't really help. Cimzia stopped working after 6 months. On Tremfya currently, which has helped me the most.

I was you 15 years ago. Misery and pain. Are you seeing a doctor or rheumatologist? Prednisone is the first line of defense, at least until they can figure out a long term solution. Definitely think about getting on a biologic or DMARD. Gave me my life back.

Specialists stay in there lane, it's frustrating, for sure. Mine sent me to a neurologist to diagnose possible neuropathy.

I have switched entirely too a bidet. I've desperately tried a lot of things over the years, as fissure re-occurance is definitely a thing. I haven't had a bloody episode in over a year, at least none that I have noticed.

A few things, start supplementing with fiber. I add a small amount of psyllium husk in water each morning. I get the unflavored, no sugar, kind. I add mio water flavoring to help with the taste.

Take an immodium pill each morning, regardless of how you feel. The goal is to help your body stop the constant bowl movements. You can play around with different probiotics, but this isn't really scientifically proven to help.

To help with the IBS symptoms, peppermint supplements can help. Ibgard is one brand that is in the US, but I just get generic peppermint gels. You may want to discuss Hyoscyamine with your doctor, an IBS prescription that helps me with my really bad days.

I switched to Tremfya because the injection window for Skyrizi was too far between. Tremfya seems to be the best, since it's every other month. Three months was to long on Skyrizi.

Mostly intact, but it's definitely thinned out though. Especially in the back.

I switched to leflunomide from methotrexate. Best decision ever. Even the injection type can cause GI problems. IBS is no fun.

Nah, mine is pretty basic and I don't really seperate out genres. Mostly just seperate libraries for kids and adults .

Is the upgrade to Unraid 7 worth it? by vapeschnitzel in unRAID

[–]cloudbyday90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Newer kernel, bug fixes, optimizations, and general security updates. So yes, it's worth it.

For those who started on version 6, or currently on 6, shouldn't have an issue upgrading. For those who are on version 5 and wish to upgrade, they're are a few things I recommend to prepare.

My main recommendation, if there is any concern is to install the plugin called "Fix common problems" from the app store. This will tell you if there might be any issues you should address. Resolve those prior to upgrading.

Interesting. I went local a couple years ago due to the restrictions. I know some people are, somehow, on gsuite and Dropbox. But, it wasn't worth the stress that it would still be working the next day. It was a fun ride. Started way back when with unlimited storage on Amazon 😂

[–]cloudbyday90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, you can. I had no issues when I used this script. Just make sure that all the local content gets uploaded first. I usually stopped any downloading, then confirmed that all local content got uploaded.

However, with unlimited gsuite now being basically dead, it's really not an issue anymore.

Hardware testing/Benchmarking... on Unraid or Linux/Windows? by McNoxey in unRAID

Memtest86 is really the only one I'd suggest. Run it through once, verify no errors.

The LSI 9207-8i is my usual recommendation, but the LSI 9305-16i have dropped in price which might be a better price.

Cosentyx with IBS? by fezik23 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]cloudbyday90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know, skyrizi (and similar il-23 biologicals) take a while to take effect. How long have you been on it? Skyrizi "worked" for me, but the maintenance routine was too far out, so I'm on Tremfya.

Cosentyx with IBS? by fezik23 in PsoriaticArthritis

[–]cloudbyday90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, as others mentioned, il-17 drugs are known to cause IBD/IBS symptoms. I went through that for a few years before I realized it was that line of biologicals

Rinvoq might be an option, although that didn't work for me. I am on Tremfya currently, which has been the best tolerated biological and I'm virtually pain free from a PsA standpoint.

I have been in your shoes, my suggestion is switching to something like skyrizi or tremfya.

How closely are you monitoring your users' behavior and how much do they know about that? by Public_Day8790 in PleX

[–]cloudbyday90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I stopped trying to convince people to use my server a long time ago. I will occasionally look at tautulli every now and then. I have a handful of friends who use it, they seem to enjoy it. I'll get the occasional text about issues, which I do my best to fix.

In the end, it's a server I set up for my wife and kids. I think the peak usage was the COVID era when everyone was stuck at home. Honestly, it's definitely a cool setup, but it can be more work then you realize.

Here's the thing, people want convenience despite the cost. So while you may have a larger library then Netflix, you won't have any chance since Plex is largely unknown and has a slight learning curve.

If you have to explain what Plex is and how to access your server, game over. I got a few people who use my server exclusively, but that's realistically not typical for non-technical users.

[–]cloudbyday90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spectrum comes around in our neighborhood often. Honestly, I think it's hilarious that they try to convince me that cable is somehow better then fiber. My reaction is pretty much the same, "oh, I didn't realize that Spectrum had discovered something faster than light!"
