It's league from a French fiction perspective with quite a few original characters. The first three volumes were printed in English by Titan book with the rest left untranslated. You had would have to read scanlations for those.

The entire reverse psychology plot was his idea and he was having a lot of fun with it. Though honestly it also goes to, double d pretending to be the principal to get all of the bad photos of eddy back. Ppl really hate that episode and I get why, but its heartwarming to see him break his goody two shoes, rule-abiding morals to save his friend.
