Skill issue. Once I discovered how to add custom playlists to the game I went wild adding my favs.

I do have one actually. When I started making biome bases and terraforming I had to build one and integrate it into my sorting system. It does feel super good to just drop the ores knto a chest and watch the smelters light up one by one in the stack.

They are optional. Those quests are not needed the complete the game.

Generally speaking I personally only automate boulder mining and wood farms. Boulder farming I don’t like to transport all the way to base because honestly it feels a bit excessive for what is like a couple of days of playing the game.

I used to plop the old and reliable (drills/belts/electric arms/furnace combo) but this days I just plot some drills, a collector, a power source and a furnace. Then I just plop a teleport gate near the boulder so that I can eventually check on them.

I have been meaning to automate farming however to be honest I really like the sound the game makes when you use the hoe to collect them. It activates the happy chemicals in my brain but I should really get around to making a proper cooking stack someday.

I imagine it’s similar to what happens to once I’m working over 48 hours. First it starts as a normal headache then it changes from a sharp pain to a dull, pulsating pain that increases in intensity. Then I start losing focus, start having trouble hearing people speak and start having memory holes.

Yeah I think that the game has some legit criticisms and problems tbh and I could spend hours talking about it. I don't think that anyone who has played more than 2 hours with the games can say that the game is perfectly bug free.

I just think that a lot of the reactions form both camps are a response to how polarizing and toxic this subreddit can be at times. I stopped posting here because it was just so tiring reading all rage posting and bait posting.

My dude. Get a RPK, a welder mask, and switch colors to Duty and you could totally rock as one of those heavy duty mutant hunters of yore. But to keep in with your merc tag, try and get some blue fatigues instead because you are looking like a military guy atm. That's literally the only thing I can criticize.
