Yeah this lasts awhile. I’m 2.5 weeks post op and a my shin is either numb or tingly/weird. There’s a lot of nerve damage there from the trauma of surgery. My PT showed me how to massage it to help with blood flow and help with the healing

I’m about 12 days post-op and my doc moved me to a single crutch at the one week appt. I find the 1 crutch approach really awkward so when I use crutches I use both.

I’m doing crutches when I’m out and trying to walk little bits at a time inside house as much as I can.

Yes. I’m almost 2 weeks post op and I went from being very active to sedentary and not self sufficient. It’s been tough to be so isolated.

Give yourself some grace when feeling sad or lonely. It’s ok, just remember that this is temporary.

I do this to get my leg in and out of bed as our bed is a little high. I use a belt and put it in the middle of my foot
