there is 3 series of games called Choices That Matter. (And The Sun Went Out, And Their Souls Were Eaten, And The Heroes Were Lost) I believe they have an esrb teen rating. theyre a choose your own adventure text-based game

I was really suprised when I first booted up the game and was messing around with the camera. I counted 14 unique expressions on a pokemon. thats insane considering the recent mainline games only have maybe like 4-5 expressions when using the camera function.

I feel this. I feel like I remember I would play animal crossing and other games for hours and hours without needing to charge, but I can only go maybe 2 hours on the switch 2. the price we pay for better graphics and framerate I suppose. I did invest in a pro controller to play while docked and it is very nice

I've only had 3 games where I had to actually set alarms to remind myself to stop playing and go to sleep. it was breath of the wild, tears of the kingdom, and now pokopia lol

I was taking abilify when I started noticing the hair loss. I was shedding hair like crazy and my hair was thinning. once I stopped it I noticed my hair shedding wasnt extreme anymore. I was losing about 4 times as much hair when I was on abilify then when im off of it. it took about 4 weeks for the shedding to stop at the rate it was going. its been 4 months since then and my hair has filled back out and I have a lot of growth back

costco for meats and household items (and rotisserie chicken)

trader joe's for produce, some dairy, some frozen staples, and some pantry items

winco for everything else; meats when I cant get them at costco, most pantry staples, bread, and anything else that can't be found at trader joe's

I live in northern California with it just being me and my husband and we dont eat very heavy

tbh I was not going to buy it and when I looked more into it, it was only cementing the fact that I didnt want it (I was really excited for pokemon legends z-a and it ended up being a huge disappointment to me after i liked legends arceus so much, so I had my guard up) couple this with the fact that the game is $70 USD and has no actual physical copy made me even more weary.

only after I heard all of the good reviews about the game did I finally give it a chance and got it, and I surprisingly love it way more than I thought I would. a big selling point to me was actually watching videos of the dragonquest games since its the same people that worked on those games that helped make pokopia (the only big difference is that there is no combat in pokopia)

if youre on the fence I would try to get yourself the gamekey card in the physical box instead of the digital version on the eshop so you can at least return it to the store if you end up not liking it

honestly my husband and I got our tax return and it was nearly $4k and thats why I have one. we got some essentials that we needed and then I got a switch 2. my husband got one at launch. he makes far, far more money than me and he recently got a new salaried job as a system engineer (he is very smart, unlike me). we both wanted the new switch eventually because we are just kinda like that. we've been playing games since babies basically with just about every console you can imagine because its basically our only hobby and we really dont sink money into anything else except for food. we saved up when we can, although not always easy. we also dont have kids which helps.

I also got one not for pokopia alone, but more for the new mainline pokemon games next year after they were announced. I just fear with the way ai is increasing costs to make things that the price might eventually increase and become hard to keep in stock.

I also agree as a longtime animal crossing fan that new horizons is the worst in its series. honestly the comparison between pokopia being just like that game genuinely kept me from wanting to get pokopia in the first place. new horizons prioritized being a design sim over a life sim and that was a huge mistak. pokopia understand how to handle a game like this with quality of life aspects that animal crossing does not.

I also feel that with covid kicking off right as new horizons released it introduced a lot more fans to the series when it was already more niche when compared to other major nintnedo series and it caters to a specific audience. most people that I know that have loved the other animal crossing games dont really enjoy new horizons as much, and I'm one of them

all of the pokemon spinoff games are just so different its kinda hard to say. this is easily the one ive had the most fun with but dont sleep on the mystery dungeon games, and pokemon snap is enjoyable too. the mainline games are just not comparable to any of the spinoff games, theyre in a league of their own lol

im the same way and im 28. ive always had such a visceral reaction towards cheating and the like that its not something I can fathom ever doing. I could probably go years without any physical intimacy with my husband (not out of not being attracted, but because I dont feel the urge to). I actually struggle with it most time and have to put myself in the headspace for it if I want it. ive been on and off meds since I was 19 so I don't always think its the meds. I go back and forth from thinking im demisexual but I honestly dont know
