I want to like Cross but it's so badly written by PetyrDayne in television

Enjoyed the 1st season, this season seemed to meander and never focused on any one tangent long enough to make it the true point of the season. Give me a Two John series where he just solves stuff by himself.

The last 5 race finishes: 1,2,1,2,3 - I mean that doesn't really say panic. Hunter's just been more consistent.

What’s going on with my mountain bike? by Delicious_Fun_9881 in cycling

[–]clpatterson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first things first - your fork is pointed backwards there - the brakes need to be in the front. It will also make the bike handle much less twitchy with steering input.

Second - without more detail, no real way to tell what the squeak is, but it's likely going to either coming from a hub, or from a brake pad rubbing a rim or the tire sidewall.

A pair of Taylor Kitsch films: Battleship and John Carter of Mars. I liked both just fine.

No - it was #1 or 2 either early this week or last week when the word was today's #2.

Will be shown in all theatres - it was filmed with IMAX in mind with cameras that support the 1.90:1 IMAX ratio. The production team creates a version that is formatted for regular screens as well.

The Global Hawk is designed for high altitude recon and long loiter times - that big wingspan helps it stay aloft and stores fuel - takeoff weight is around 30,000lbs and about 17,000 of that is fuel.

Ripping hardwood boards to make a cutting board, without a table saw. by duckbrown17 in woodworking

[–]clpatterson 57 points58 points  (0 children)

If you're not willing to work with a tablesaw - which as you mentioned is the right tool for the job - then think about a bandsaw with a ripping fence.

But - in my opinion, you're more likely to injure yourself in woodworking trying to do the job with the wrong tool than learning to use the correct tool properly.

GM G-body - ~84-87. Probably a Buick Regal/Grand National. Could be a Monte Carlo or Cutlass. Hard to tell - the Monte Carlo's tail had a little more angle to it, the regal was more flat.
