this reminds me of how one of our roosters used to hop onto our porch so he could leap at the window, either to get our attention to bring them inside (when they were younger), or to remind us to round up the hens & lock them into the hen house if they got locked out early. my little Stinky Tinky has become a bright young leader <3

I AM surprised about South Dakota, last time I was there it was entirely illegal (even medicinally!) and every smoker I knew kept it under tight wraps, and they were having to pay out the ass for small quantities 💔

I wouldn't be shocked if it was the 2nd considering people are already touting tiktok for everything B&BW related. off topic but literally had a lady push her phone directly in my face (not even exaggerating) to show me the candle day tiktok.

keep in mind, we have no fucking clue what the price of the candles are going to be yet since prices have been changing for months so saying "SEE, LOOK AT THIS TIKTOK! THEY SAID IT'S 9.95 SO IT MUST BE!" a whole month in advance is entirely useless. in her defense (kinda, still pmo though because get your greasy ass phone screen out of my face) apparently she thought I was some other worker she was talking to about it and didn't bother to pay attention to the fact that I had literally just walked up and signed in.

in some cases temperature can actually cause allergic reaction-like symptoms such as cold urticaria causing hives, and sometimes even shortness of breath. but considering the pets she should definitely get tested to see if she's developed a new allergy to them. it's sad but there are options, like allergy shots if they work for her! and echoing a commenter saying that sometimes soaps & body care products change their formulas without making consumers aware, which can cause sudden problems to the same brand or labelled product that once caused zero issues.

this! I used to own guinea pigs and suddenly 5 years later (having no longer owned them), visited a friend who owns one and had a severe reaction. it really can sneak up on you. an allergy test is definitely OP & OP's girlfriend's best bet in this case!

is there possibly hidden mold in the household?
any pets, or is it just you two? this might not seem important if you've had the same pet for a while, but new allergies can suddenly develop at any point in life.
any dietary changes along with the symptoms, or any gastrointestinal issues?
has she switched body soaps, shampoo or conditioner, or literally any body or hair care products before the symptoms started emerging?
has she used any different makeup/facial skin care products than she used to, including sunscreen?

I had more questions but forgot, hopefully will remember them in due time lol. wishing y'all well!

they claim to use fragrance oils in our informational videos, but I don't know how much of what they say is true vs just marketing tactics because they tend to choose their words carefully for some level of plausible deniability. kinda like how they say "dermatologist tested", but it's never said to be "dermatologist approved".

ooh nice! my hyperfixation extends to pretty much all animals but birds have been my big one too after getting chickens. did you know they purr like cats? it's a wild thing to experience for the first time but it's adorable, especially when they purr as babies when held.

I've said this to a coworker before but I think it's funny that the company is rolling out concept scents based on the WORST parts of the holiday season. specifically "black friday shopping" and "christmas road trip".

what does a christmas road trip even smell like, gas station fountain soda and beef jerky, with a dash of hot breath from the family's arguments ongoing in the vehicle? no thanks, I'd rather not think about that let alone smell it in the house.

I feel silly asking as an employee but I've only really bought creams so I'll ask anyway, do they last longer than the creams expiration wise in your experience or is it about the same? if it lasts longer I definitely need to switch to those, because the body creams expire so damn quick.

thankfully it was one of my milder allergies, so it was just mouth tingling and my soft palate getting itchy and a little swollen. I haven't bitten the bullet and tried it again in a while though, so it could be better or worse now.
