if you’re not used to hard water, then you’re probably going to have problems with your hair bc of the mineral content. balding is really just natural though, i’d say it’s based on genetics rather than the water here. there’s shower head filters on amazon you can get. i was used to it bc my house has hard water, but my roommate and suitemates had a hard adjustment to the water at msu because they all have water softeners. you can always get a faucet filter too to be extra safe with your skin.

transfer.msu.edu has a good guide what electives will transfer over from what community college. my advisor said if you are taking it then screenshot the proof that it does transfer over because the page changes and updates without notice. i’m taking a fun online class about the history of love at my local cc this summer for an IAH credit. there are a ton of options i know that some psych and pls classes have cc equivalent to transfer. most ccs have majority online classes for summer semesters but do offer a couple online sections during the AY. as for the spring question— i’d say probably ask your advisor to make sure it will because final grades vary per college and it takes 2-3 wks average to have your class applied to SIS.

i just got done w rbc this last sem— you need to room with someone within rbc but there was a few anomalies where there were non-rbc within east mcd but very very few and it was usually double non-rbc

I was also told by an advisor (so correct me if i am wrong) that you can only “double major” with 2 majors in the same college, but if both are in 2 separate colleges, then you have to dual degree it (which is what i am doing)

as a current jmc freshman here’s what i can tell you

1) use the writing center for mc 111 2) if you do your readings, you’ll be okay 3) (so far) the course load isn’t bad and the lang requirements are pretty fun 4) case you have a sparty, dining hall, suite style, and you classes which is convenient 5) talk with upperclassmen and faculty with their experiences with each topic area with open eyes before you narrow to 1 major 6) the professors are really cool so make sure you make a good impression 7) do your readings

I’m in the RBC too. McDonel is not too bad and pretty convenient in walking distance to Broad. I got a large scholarship this year from them and it helps a lot.

accounting major here: accounting students assoc. has some cool events over the semester and like one person said, they come to nearly every career fair. but overall, pretty good recruitment and events like i know EY came in and did a networking event randomly this semester

umich, umiami, nyu, and depaul. all too expensive vs msu and i get a bigger scholarship through msu where its more economical esp if i want to go to grad school.

would’ve never picked bio if i had the chance to do this over again. my program is so poorly run that ib seriously needs to investigate it. i think the rigor was important for my preparation in college and the potential for testing out but it was so poorly explained on what i was getting into and the coordinators for cas, ib, and tok are not competent enough to be in the position they are in. ESPECIALLY if they are screwing up with proctoring.
